Discussion

Can you use the integral image from #2 - possibly stretch it out and place over the CISSTEM? And change color to blue. Giving it a more sleek almost elongated appearance?

Would it be possible to incorporate a little silver or something shiny into the logo? Almost like a stainless steel kind of look.

of course,i'll do it as soon as possible..

#27 the steel looks a little smudged. Can we make it more shiny?

Dear Julie,
Sure I'll revise it soon.
I can't do it right now because I'm out of town. I'll revise it tomorrow.
Thank you for your understanding.
Thank you

I was just looking at #21 again and I like the dot over the "i." I also like the points added to the graph.

I do not like the use of the sigma.

#35 looks good - anyway you can give the letters a bit more depth or movement either with font or shading? I'm not sure the stainless look is coming out so well. Also I need to think about using this on white/cream letterhead paper. So although I like the black background, I should probably stick with white.

Dear Julie,
I'm not sure about what you meant by "give the letters a bit more depth or movement either with font or shading".. Could you give me example? what it will be look like.
I'm sorry for my poor English.
I'm afraid I'm interpret it wrong way.
Thank you

Your English is just fine! The shading you used gives it more depth. Could you do three more for me?

1. I'd like to see #42 with a white background?

2. Could you try mixing blue and red in the same logo - blue for the globe and red for the text?

3. Lastly, could you elongated and stretch the globe almost into a rectangle-like shape and put it above the length of the word CISSTEM. You will likely need to stretch the CISSTEM so that the image, CISSTEM, and the full text description are all the same width.

Hope this all makes sense :) Thank you Makinson - you're doing a great job!

#48 looks really good. Can you shorten the height of the rectangle so the acronym is the main focus?

Dear Julie,

The spacing and size on #50 looks good, but I would like the curve inside the rectangle to look more like #48 and just a bit more red above the curve inside the rectangle.

Thanks again for all your speedy work!!!

I'd still like a little more curve so it looks less like a rollercoaster and more like a curvy integral. It could be broader across the rectangle if needed too.

On entry #104 could you make the "CIS" less bold and the "STEM" more emphasized? And repeat the blue in #104 and also do another entry with the USA blue in the link provided.
Thanks for all!

I like the image in #174 - it sort of looks like the Colosseum on its side - a place for gathering. Could you soften it a bit so it looks less like a shark :)

I like #176 - can you change the black text to silver, steel, or grey? And keep the full text all one shade and the same as the "CIS."
