Hi Nancy,
Wanted to thank you for the Cedar Investments Logo from a couple of years back. I am not in the process of starting another company "Built For Global" and will be starting new tournament. Great to see if you were available participate in this one.
My new company "Built For Global" is designed to be a consultancy to help US Companies identify opportunities in overseas markets. Target customer would be CEO, VP Sales & Marketing for mid size US companies. usually have some business in the US and now want to explore into new markets say in Asia and/or Europe, South America but do not know how to proceed forward. I have created a methodology (writing book) to teach them how to select the right markets, identify first partners, early customers, etc. For most US small and medium business they love to to enter big emerging markets like Indonesia, Brazil, etc as having a lot of future opportunity but their are so many things they do not understand including how to find partners, how to find customers, legal, banks, etc. (too much risk) they do not proceed forward.
From logo standpoint I am hoping to convey an image of ... tremendous opportunities for US SMB's ... Built For Global will train/help you tap into global opportunities, minimize the risks and allow you to assess markets quickly to avoid losing all of your money.
1) If you work with/use the Built For Global Method you will maximize your opportunity but minimize your risks.
2) Want to convey image of growth & opportunity.
3) Trying to get something that is subtle but powerful. Should be Masculine but Simple & clean (not too complex)
4) Image of necessity. Ie. US Companies honestly need to do this over we will be beaten by new economic powerhouses like China, India.
5) Image of being Economical (goal of service is to help US Business get into overseas markets in an economical way)
6) Image should be somewhat serious.
7) Modern
8) Want to convey spirit of adventure ... but should also need to show image of security (since doing international business is perceived to have a lot of risk).
Below, please find initial write up for the website (below)
Can't thank you enough Nancy ... target posting to LogoTournament this weekend.
Best regards,
Robert
