Here is my idea for the logo design for the new Catalyst Tour brand! I think something very clean, bold and easy to read is the way to go here—you don't want to get too cliparty or complicated with the imagery. Also, as you requested, the crest icon can stand on its own anytime the entire logo will not fit or suffice! :)
Take a look when you get some time, review with others, etc., and we can go from there.
