Thanks, Kurt 9 years ago Visartes commented on #335 Actually both blue and taupe are a bit darker. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #335 how is #335 different from #328, my 1st choice? same gray, darker blue? or same blue but darker gray? 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #336 Withdrawn blue too dark here, but thanks for letting me see it. 9 years ago Visartes commented on #328 Withdrawn Yes, I confirm - also I've uploaded two more color options #335 and similar but with darker blue #336 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #328 Withdrawn Before I choose your submission as the FINAL logo/font, will you please confirm that this is Blue and TAUPE and not GRAY? It's tough for me to tell. Would you please submit a few more EXACTLY like this but perhaps a darker BLUE and TAUPE? But nothing TAN, please. Thanks I'm trying to distance myself from lighter grays. Thanks, Kurt 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #328 Withdrawn thanks again for implementing the desired changes. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #328 Withdrawn Perfect. THANKS!! 9 years ago Visartes commented on #313 Withdrawn Here is the update: #328 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #313 Withdrawn I like the company name as written with consistent font for the top and bottom lines, as you have it. But I would like a horizontal line underscoring COLLISION SCIENCE, and then on the right end of the line, I'd like you to place "LLC" in smaller font than the rest of the company name, in a font height that balances well with the overall appearance. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #314 Withdrawn I understand your comments regarding other's designs. I will describe what I want, and then you might be able to modify your design based on these instructions. many other designers have used vertical and horizontal lines to separate the logo from the company name, or to underscore the company name. I like the company name as written with consistent font for the top and bottom lines, as you have it. But I would like a horizontal line underscoring COLLISION SCIENCE, and then on the right end of the line, I'd like you to place "LLC" in smaller font than the rest of the company name, in a font height that balances well with the overall appearance. I hope you can incorporate these instructions. Thanks. however, use #313. 9 years ago Visartes commented on #262 Withdrawn Hi, I've uploaded new designs for your consideration: #313 #314 but please note that according to logotournament rules I can't copy other designers so basically I can use the font but I'm not allowed to mimic part of the design. Of course I can try more different versions of the design with the same font. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #262 Withdrawn Would you please mimic the company name font, equal height and horizontal line followed by LLC like 3rd rated submission? Thanks. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #289 Withdrawn the gap changes the logo's impression significantly I'm surprised. You'll definitely get tot he final round where we can tweak font, color, etc. thanks for these newer renders. 9 years ago Visartes commented on #289 Withdrawn Hi, I was thinking - maybe the ranking changed when I was logged out so I can't be 100% sure which font on design ranked 3 you like - so I submitted few more fonts similar to current ranked 2 and 4. Also here is design with gap and font similar to current design ranked on spot 3 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #262 Withdrawn on #262, what would it look like with a small white line/ vertical gap between the blue and taupe. I'm not sure, but I'd like to see it. Looking again, the "bricks" have the perfect width and taper. Really nice detail! My eyes are shit, but I can't tell if the "bricks" have pointed corners are mildly rounded corner. Thanks again 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #262 Withdrawn I'm very please with this one, thanks. Do you have any other BRILLIANT ideas for the logo? I'm interested if you have something with a visual impact such as the one you have created thus far. Thanks. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #213 Withdrawn can you try the font in 3rd ranked logo, please? Again, I'm not certain what you are able to view, but that is another font I like, thanks. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #260 Withdrawn a little too faint on the test, I still prefer #262. Thanks! 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #261 Withdrawn A little too bold, compared to #262 that is preferred. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #263 Withdrawn thanks, but blocky D's. 9 years ago Visartes commented on #213 Withdrawn Yes, of course. I will upload new versions within few minutes. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #213 Withdrawn if you can see 3rd ranked, I love that font. Can you find and use it, please? 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #213 Withdrawn can you try a few different fonts? Same all caps, but a little stretched horizontally. If I new names, I'd be specific. If you can review several of the rates logos, it would give you a few ideas. Thanks. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #102 Withdrawn An aside: I have reviewed the other logos you have created in LT, and you show great talent. I am anxious to see some other suggestions you might have, thanks. K 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #102 Withdrawn Can we try something I shouldn't like, because it's too cliché? Go with BLACK and YELLOW. Road sign yellow, not bright or light yellow, something deeper. I use R255, G200 B0. This is a yellow I prefer. This color scheme might reek of "lame," (my word, not your talent) but I'd like to see it anyway. Maybe a greener yellow, something NOT standard, yet unique. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #102 Withdrawn Here's a nudge, Sebastian: Your is by far the best work of all those posting ideas. The simple brick shifted left to create the "S." That's the clever and smart that I'm looking for. I know you're working on future iterations that I'm anxious to see. Deep gray blue and taupe gray color scheme is my feeling. Basically, I see three main colors: Red, Blue and Green. All these primary colors work with GRAY/taupe. Red signified death so that's out. Green is for carbon emission reducing Priuses, so I'm going with SMART look BLUEs. Good luck. 9 years ago Visartes commented on #102 Withdrawn Hi, Thank you for feedback and kind words. I'll upload revisions very soon. Kindly regards Sebastian 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #103 Withdrawn I'd like it if I were a brick mason. The other logo design does not have this feel. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #103 Withdrawn adjust colors. LLC at end. my second preferred of these two. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #102 Withdrawn preferred design. Absolutely BRILLIANT use of one brick to create the "S." That indicated intelligence, and clever. GREAT touch! This I like. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #102 Withdrawn adjust colors to blue/gray. Blue on the left and CASE STUDY. I'm not a fan of the LLC beneath it all. try moving to end of second line, please. 9 years ago kurtdweiss commented on #104 Withdrawn lightening bolts evoke electricity. a little too sharp. 9 years ago
