I've taken the time to visit the Peace river website, I was looking for something specific, yes trees and bridges even the statue of Henry Fuller would be appropriate, but I was really looking for something htat inspires conversation and these elements do not do this. the bridge is visual of pass through not staying.
it was under the We Love Peace River link when it hit me like ton-o-bricks "101 Reasons Why We Love Peace River. It's a wee bit too lengthy so I've reduced it to a simple statement. "101 Reasons Peace River.
People will want to know what are the 101 reason and every person who lives in Peace River will have different stories and similar stories.
We want to engage the full time residences to be part of this wonderful community as spokes persons.
You could hold competitions On Air or TV spots you name it.
the 101 Reasons is a good concept but the more I thought about it's better a go call to action statement rather than a brand.
The bridge does represent passing though but it is also a focal point. The newer submissions focuses on the arches rather than a bridge. It's like the Causeway between Cape Breton and mainland Nova Scotia. It's the link the binds the 2 as one. Even though Cape Breton is Nova Scotia.
Scott thank you for all the efforts you have put into your designs. Unfortunately our town has just informed us that they are holding their own contests using 101 reasons...so they have asked us to not do it. I have to take those out of the running.
we're having a hard time because our area unfortunately is limited for attractions. There is the bridge, trees, lots of summer sun, snow flakes are good, camping, wildlife (eg. deer/moose) not sure if these help. thank you
