I really like the color scheme of #17, but dont get the design within the gold loop. Maybe have a carbon fiber look/feel within that gold loop. The top arch also looks too plaid / line-based, give it more of a carbon fiber look.
Also the spacing of gear is a little off (too High). Adjust that down perhaps.
