Thank you for your submissions. #72 - I like that the second color has more contrast to the dark blue. #73 - The lighter blue looks "soft". #74 = The "dots" are a good addition. #75 - Too complex.
jetBlue uses a font with a balance of boldness and friendliness that I'm aiming for. You can see an example of what I mean in "Ft Lauderdale" at http://airwaysnews.com/galleries/10578.jpg.
#81 - Way too complex. #79 & #80 - I'm not sure about the subtle color differences. Making the font bolder, less "pointy", but more interesting. I do realize that what I'm asking for isn't easy.
I'm not sure if the new fonts are better. They might be. I 'll think more about it. In the meantime, please correct the spelling - Captao, not Captau. :-O
#103 - I like #90 a lot more. I'm not sure, but maybe there's a better treatment for the bottom half of the cloud. I think there's more chance that you can do something with the text to make it more unique than just the letters.
#110 - You don't need to create any more very different designs. #90 - This one is by far my favorite from you. If you can make a couple tweaks to this you'll win. Can you please try just a small change to the graphic, replacing the sun with another BI-type element like a line chart with and arrow and do something with the text to make it more unique than just the letters?
Sorry about that, but there was a slight dispute between me and another designer, but all is fine now. I just uploaded #134 for now, and will look at further options too :)
#139 - I like the cloud, but not the text treatment. It makes the "o" easy to miss and read the name as "Capta". Please don't bother creating any other graphics, but please do try other text options. Text text in #71 is a good example.
#168 - This is a step in the right direction with the text. The points and the top of "t" and the "a" seem to be fighting each other. In #171 the overlap looks exaggerated. Can they just come together squarely?
OMG im so sorry, im doing this and finishing the wallpapering of the kitchen, i need a coffee ;) I will upload again now for you, with the right spelling.. :)
Thanks for the note on the "t". I think I like it better the way it was - more connected to the "a". If you could please change the "t" back, I think we're done.
The only question now is "cloud: or "quote" (#197 or your update or #69). Captao is cloud BI, but our messaging is about listening to the customers. Both logos work. We'll be making a decision soon.
Raymer, I'm leaning toward #69. The decision isn't final, but I wanted to thank you for your help. I don't have any feedback and I'm not sure it there's anything you can do. If I can think of something, I will get back to you. Thanks, Doug
