Captain Sea J'sLogo Design Contest

Thank you for your submission. Very nice. I like your lettering and placement of the J's Hook the best. See if you can lift the lettering up from the Shark a little bit so that it isn't overlapping the shark. Entry #25 is your best in my opinion. I like the circle to look more like a ship portal window. I like the placement of the slogan along the bottom of the logo and don't mind if it's contoured to the bottom evenly on both sides. It can be in the circle but with the portal design, it might be best to keep it outside along the bottom. One last thing the "C" in Captain is too fancy. See if you can keep the lettering style/font but make the C more simple. I think it will make it stand out more. Can't say enough about the hook placement and design.. Very, very good.

Try the lettering in Red. I like the blue too. I definitely like the font. Maybe try the blue, yellow and do a red without the shadowing and just one solid color or less contrast in the colors inside the lettering. Also, put the first part of the slogan at the Top. So it would read Get hooked up at... and then the Captain Sea J's as you have it now.

I love the red in entry #43, especially the hook design and the slight color contrast with the hook being a little lighter and having the white outline. The only think I would suggest is that can you separate the "s" from the "J"
a little more. Do it like (J 's) instead of (J's). Also, can you put a CJ on inside the anchor on the hat. Even if you have to make the hat/anchor bigger to get it in there and slightly recognizable. For entry #39 can you make the Captain Sea J's lettering Red like #43 and put the slogan (Get hooked up at Captain Sea J's) around the top of the window frame instead of in the Window frame. Also in #43 can you put the words GET HOOKED UP AT in black lettering above the Captain Sea J's in red. I can't read the slogan well on the bottom of that logo.

Here's another thought. Take entry #39 make the lettering in Captain Sea J 's the color RED. Put the that on the top above the shark and not overlapping too much on the window. . and take the slogan (Get Hooked Up...) in black lettering along the outside of the window/circle in the same style font or another font that can be read very easily. Nothing too fancy on the slogan lettering. I would compare the company name placement to entry #25 but just up a little bit more. Don't forget to separate the J and s a little bit more. Keep the 's together though. Just trying to get the hook to stand out more. Thanks

in reference to #52 take the Captain Sea J's and put it above the window

And take the Get Hooked Up At Captain Sea J's and run it along the bottom and use black lettering. Try a different font so the G stands out more.

I like the CJ on the hat.

Please Bring back the screws/stars on the window frame. That was a nice touch.

Your spacing is perfect between the J and 's now. Don't change that anymore.

Your hook design is great as well.

Please try putting the Captain Sea J's above the Shark and the slogan around the outside of the bottom of the window, below the shark. Please bring back the star/screws like in entry #38 and #39. I like the Gold ones the best. I do not prefer the logo going over the window or shark. Do not put them on top of one another. Thank you

in reference to #55. I like where you put the stars. Thank you for bringing those back!

Please do two things. I am not sure what I would like better

First please make the Captain Sea J's letters larger. The font is great, the J is great. Just make it pop out more.

Secondly try anothe rone and please switch the slogan position to the bottom with it wrapping around the bottom like you have it wrapping around the top now and put the Captain Sea J's letters up top without having them overlapping the window or shark. Thank you for hard work.

What is that on the shark's chest?

I like the logo on the top and the slogan on the bottom just like you have it. The colors are fine, the font is great. Just lift up the Captain Sea J's a little Center it on the picture and make it straight across with not overlap on the picture/graphic. Make the letters in Captain Sea J's slightly bigger as well when you center it. The Captain Sea J 's as it stands looks crooked. THank you, THank you, Thank you

In reference to entry #58. Lift up the Captain Sea J's up from the picture a little bit so it's not as close to the shark and make the lettering larger font at the same time. Also can you change the font of the slogan (Get Hooked Up at Captain Sea J's) so that it's more crisp and easy to read. These logo are going to be on a street sign and need be read from a distance. I like your new entries. Could you take Entry #43 and take the words "Get Hooked Up At" and put it above the company name. Don't put the whole slogan just add the words above and add it to the #43 logo. Also put the new (J's) like in entry #90 and the CJ on the hat as well.
