looking at streetcar media again, you can probably create a similar look and feel, with the outer circle being the record. the more i look at that logo the more i like it. so let's move toward that kind of treatment pelase

also, take a look at the streetcar media logo that was one of the style references i put in my brief. if there's a way to incorporate some of that design, give it a go. i like the overall treatment. it may be quite different from where you are with the current logo, but of all the designers who have submitted logos, i'm generally leaning towards your aesthetic

i like the blue/gradient colours and overall treatment but can you provide a couple of alternative font options - i'd like "captain jacktastic" to be the same font, but i understand with the font you have now for captain it would be too much for jacktastic as well, so let's consider other fonts. a few i'm seeing online: "hansief" . there's also a distressed version with grit,etc. might work. others to try: "heritage" which is kind of stylized. others: blackshore, moda, bourbon grotesque, norwester, bebas neue.

i like the record idea. maybe play with that a bit more - i also want to include the tagline
