Hello,

As I am submitting entries if you see anything that you would like modified or interchanged in the designs I will be happy to do those for you.

If you have any ideas that are not seen you may post your notes for the designers on your contest wall. For private notes to individual designers you may click on those designs to leave a message to them.

I will be happy to work on alterations or suggestion you may have.
Your input is appreciated.

Thank you

#131 Very nice. Chic and simple. Can it translate to (1) a black background and (2) yellow background?

#129 +#130 Thank you for trying the scarf and sunglasses approach!!! (1) Is there a way to incorporate them without a girl? (2) Feel free to try a pattern on scarf. I'll think some more on this too.

Thank you Tere!

Hi,

to narrow it down...is there any particular pattern that you prefer on the scarf?

Here are these transposed in the colors...there are always other possicilities.

#171 #172

This is a san serif font with your initial in script...would you like to see other fonts?

Good question. Hmm, waves, wavy lines or nautical stripes could be nice and signal coastal feel. Zig zag (maybe tough)? Tiny dots plus solid could be nice. These are some thoughts. Print shoudl be simple enough to translate in different ad & print media I guess, so not too many intricate detail. Simple. Hope that helps.

I like #171 & #172 per your question. Reminds me a little of Calypso St. Barth's. Very nice. I like the word Apparel under the name. Thanks.

What does it look like if the C in #172 is the lighter buttery yellow or like the background color from #171?

#172 I will try again...but a light buttery yellow on the C your name is not visible ...but I will try some other arrangement of the color on black and see if it works.

#175
I went ahead and tried this on the scarf....the possibilities on a scarf are endless but to keep with your color scheme I kept it simple and if you notice the word Paris and on the left is a stylized impression of the Eiffel tower.
Also if you want to go back to just the solid black sunglasses I can do that ...was playing around with this possibility for you

#172 That's ok. If the lighter yellow doesn't seem to work / not visible. Don't worry about it. I thought that might be the case.

#175 Still looks like a women because of the sunglasses. Oh well. I think that combo won't work. Scarf is pretty. I played with cut and paste to see if it would look nice over, under or in-between the words, but, not sure about it either. Hmmm. I don't know. I was just trying to add some visual interest. Maybe simpler is better.

Not sure if this initial is too ornate for you.

the others #179 #180 #181
the black on black is representative of a gloss varnish in the background.

It's okay about the scarf if you can't use it...the idea is very playful as opposed to the look you are leaning towards

Forgot to tell you I tried the buttery yellow on the 'C' and it isn't working either so I transposed it to your name and the darker color or black with varnish on the background

The gold is in the same hue as buttery yellow

Yes I like the C style from #179 better than from #180 (for me the C background style from #180 is as you say "too ornate" for what I am going for). I like the yellow font color from #180 though. I wonder if you used that font color yellow for Cape Chic and moved it to #179 and then lightened up the gray C in the background to lighter gray?

I know I guess the scarf ended up more playful as you say. We tried! :-)

I like the buttery yellow. Thanks. And good to know.

I don't understand about the buttery yellow...it looks different on the website but it is the exact same...another designer brought this up on our discussion forum and may be just the digital transferring of information???

but I lightened the gray a little ....

One thing about any design like the scarf...it's not wasted...there are other contests that always come up for us to recycle them

Weird about the buttery yellow being exact same. Good to know! Thanks. The ligher gray is good because the darker gray C was getting a little lost. I liked it bigger, like before but that's ok.
I'm glad to know designs like the scarf won't get wasted! Thanks. Sandra
