I can't see other entries by other designers, it's blind phase. btw, we not allowed to adopted or copy what other designer concept even the contest not blind.

I don't want to drive you too crazy. So, lets work on the original logo of the scale and the leaves if it can be stretched out a bit, taller scale. I like the concept of the word outlay. would it be possible to use a smaller or less bold font, more delicate/moderate...
