CamginiLogo Design Contest

Hi Raymer,

Thank you for your entries. Here are my comments/feedback:

1. Don't worry about the tagline being included, as this probably won't be the definitive one that I will ultimately use.
2. Please use a capital (Upper case) 'C' at the beginning of the name 'Camgini'.
3. The camera icon/image is not really working for me. Please don't focus too much on the idea of cameras. At the end of the day I am hoping this will be the next evolution in online Social Networking, where people will not only interact as they already do on such sites as Facebook, Twitter, etc. but will now be able to do so via webcam and also be able to use their profiles on the site to make money.

I hope that makes sense, but feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

Hi Ray,

Am liking where you are going with #31. It is starting to give me the impression of multiple people all socialising and interacting live and simultaneously via webcam which is a big part of what I am trying to get across. Could you try to explore this concept a little more and also in a slightly funkier style as this is still a bit too corporate looking for my style?

Hi Ray,

Thank you for your latest entry, but I think #53 is slightly going in the wrong direction. Although you have picked up well on the multiple cam interaction element, it is a little too obvious and I am still ideally looking for something that is a little more abstract and that will become an iconic logo and recognisable brand. I would also like to see more focus on the Gini aspect of the brand.

Thanks for your latest entry. I like it although still prefer where you were going with #31 as am not really a fan of that angled away square shape. I have just taken another look at your portfolio and I would love to something more along the lines and styles of the designs you did for:

- Hike
- ReCoCa
- Gisteo
- 4Free Bingo
- apeje
- minjii
- ingkey
- speak social

Am liking the font and shadowing/surround effect you are using in #96 & #97, but not the image that is going along with it. Any chance you could come up with something else please instead? This is the most important part for me and I am looking for something completely unique that will become the globally iconic.

Hi Ray,

Very nice. Now could I have a version with bolder stronger colours as opposed to the more faded ones you are currently using.

Also would prefer NOT to use black in the name. I think it looks like the I will most likely go with either a Green/Gold or possibly Green/Blue combination.

Hi Ray,

I think we are getting close.

Using #109 as the frame of reference, I would like to try a couple of revisions. Please could you:

1. Make the background of the image yellow/gold instead of green but use some bright green highlights somewhere if possible.

2. Use the same bright green in the Camgini name with possibly some yellow/gold highlights, again if possible.

Am liking #147, but could you make the colours more vibrant and bolder? They are still a little too pastelly (if there is such a word) at the moment.

Hi Ray,

Not sure if you are aware, but I have extended the contest as I am still not 100% happy with the entries. I would really like to see you develop your concepts a little more as I think you are on the right track. Please take a look at the current top few entries to see what I am liking most. One of the things that I am not getting from your designs is the colours. I want these to be bold and bright. Yours are still too soft and pastel-like.

I hope you decide to send in some more entries.
