Hi craggs, It would be great if "Plant Rescue" could be as big as or slightly bigger than "California". If you could also make the green of the seedling darker, that would be super. Thanks!

Thank you Ian - this is lovely. I have a couple of little requests: the stars are a good idea, but I think it would be better/more simple without them. Can you also make the fingers rounded, so that it's more obvious these are hands, and can you make the word California blue? Thanks!

Hello, here is my first entry for your consideration. The logo is clean and simple yet shows a number of your brief requirements.
Firstly it shows a seed which is growing into a plant.
Secondly this seed/plant is being held/protected by two hands which also form the shape of a heart. This helps to represent the saving/rescuing/hope aspect.
I have also added a small star next to the seed. The idea for this was to try and represent California in some way and the star is taken from the California Republic symbol. But it can just as easily represent the miracle of life starting.
I have chosen to use gold for the main color as it can help represent a 'heart of gold'.
I hope you may like the design and I look forward to any feedback you may have. I will be glad to make any revisions you request.
