of course! What do you think? I think the last alteration would be the background texture, if it is possible to further texturize for sandy appearance, otherwise that’s all i got
Hi!
How's this? I used a different font for the date and added a white chocolate seashell atop the cake. Let me know if you need further alterations. Thx!
Pam
perfect! would you consider a different font style for est 2021? Same formatting it is now, just the style only. I didn’t love the chocolate shaving, maybe a scalloped sea shell or starfish? think white chocolate mold
Of course! I really think this general redesign from the cat holding the cake was a game changer. I love the addition of the sand texture which incorporates that beach texture, All the colors match really well and compliment each other, while the cake blue adds the “pop” without anything overpowering. I felt like the top of the cake was missing something, but a cherry wouldn’t be it for a cake, if there’s something you can think of that’s small and not overpowering to the rest of it
i think maybe a thinner font? or leaving the font for tabby cat as is, and maybe a bold pseudo script for cakery. as for the date i feel like it should be curved with the shape of the design or have its own banner/border
Same as #123, except changed the drop shadow of the 'cakery' banner to purple and changed the date and the outer border back to gray to tie in with the cat.
Revision of #113:
I changed the powder blue to a little warmer blue, added texture/grain to the background and added purple sprinkles to the cake's blue icing. (Let me know if this is what you intended. Thanks!
Thanks for all feedback! I’ll revise the blue for name, and add some graininess to the tan background.
And, I’ll garnish the cake with white and purple. Thanks!
*you can play with the cake color as well in terms of garnish. If i were to bake a cake, the way I would garnish what this reminds me or is Sanding sugar, white and purples go really well with that shade of blue, but too much would overpower
I think i would play with the powder blue for the name, maybe a different light blue hue that’s less powdery. I would also play with the texture
of the tan background, maybe grainy? When I show this logo to outside sources they identify that it is primary a bakery with the cute cat nuance to it
the cat cake design are awesome! I prefer the curved one, it’s fitting. This is def the logo to play with as far as background texture and color sequencing, as far as cat placement behind the cake eating a piece of cake, don’t change it.
Revision of #99:
Moved the name to the top, moved the cake down and revised the cat. Let me know what you'd like changed on this entry. Thanks for the feedback!
At this stage i would rethink the cat silhouette, i like the font but maybe have it at the top and bring the cake down, i don’t think the cat has to hold it up.
Revision of #88:
I made the cat and cake smaller, and made the business name more prominent. Let me know what you'd like changed on this entry. Thanks!
Revision of #82:
I eliminated the lavender and the teal green of the border, and incorporated the cats into the border. Am I heading in the right direction? Let me know what I should change. Thanks!
I would include some cat component to it, maybe differently than what you had. I would eliminate the teal color for the border, and maybe eliminate the purple altogether so that leaves those two eliminated
I was working on this, and #83, before I got the feedback about the colors. Let me know what you want changed and I'll be happy to accommodate. Thanks!
Oh it’s no biggie! I Like the improvements. You have met the criteria of the idea, but I think there’s too much conflict among colors of that makes sense but i’m not sure which way to go with it, which is good!
Revision of #70:
I simplified the cat, added a background and corrected the date, Again, sorry about that!
Let me know what you'd like changed regarding this entry.
Thanks for the feedback!
You have got the right idea from your initial design. I think there’s a lot of empty space in the interior of the logo. I think the inclusion of a cat should be either very detailed or more of a silhouette, I think the centering of a layer cake and the general design of that is cool. Eat 2021 (thankfully 2020 is over!). I like the logo placement in the circular border; think about instagram and sticker logos, beach theme, baking, and the subtlety of a cat in the logo

I'll leave the colors as they are in this entry, but curve the date and set 'bakery' in a bold pseudo script.
