You may consider replacing the black color of strokes with dark color instead. It may brighten up the overall look of the logo.
It all depends on what you are after.

I think this is the primary design and color scheme to stick with, the only outside criticism i’ve received is a more bakery centric element but otherwise this is the design i’d stick with and the color

IMHO it looks very eclectic now. Also, there may be not enough space for the whole name written as neon.

with this exact logo, you can also do a blue one that you had previously submitted adjusting the shading, but be mindful of the cat color as it is not too yellow

without changing anything, are you able to put an slight shadow effect on the font, think of the glow of a neon light

so when i look at this i think of the writing on top of a cake, looking down. Really great. I like the banner design for the est 2021, which I’m glad you included to an extent from previous renditions. I don’t love yellow (not on this version) and i like the eye drawing color. You can even brighten the cherry on the cake slice ( but not too red to deviate from your uniqueness). At this stage I’m not sure what other alterations can be made, but really good looking.

i love that you added a pop of color to the design. maybe the inclusion of a more shore/ beach themed tone? the brown reminds me of burlap, maybe the inclusion of a light blue?

I added new versions with a layered cake #58 and #59. Let me know if you want to modify something, eg colors, graphics style.

I think the font of the previous logo for tabby cat is more appropriate. In the finalist stage i would play with changing the cupcake to a layer cake? Both would be compared.
