Still not dark enough I don't think. But if we receive the illustrator or photoshop file when the contest is over we can make the change.
Guess we are thinking Brown Pallets and Brown Text.

Hi Cleo, there are only a few days left and I just received word from my client that this logo is the likely winner. They do like number 2 that I have just ranked but I am advising them from a marketing perspective this is a better option.
I know I asked for the lines on the pallets which they decided against. So let me ask this, can you give me one other option? I would like to see this one and the #4 ranked one with a Brown "C" over the pallets. Either brown or dark brown.
I don't know if it will make a difference but I thought if you can do it that would be great. They probably will just stick with this one idk. :)

Not sure I understand if there is any meaning behind the logo but it reminds me of a chain link.

Like the logo but may I suggest a rendition where you made the squares look more like pallets? Perhaps with lines on them somehow?

Again, like the design but not sure about the sagging tree.

I like the design but I'm not sure I understand the sagging branches.
