FYI serif fonts do not work as well in metal = sometimes the small serifs get lost or do not come out very well.

changed font - CALNENA is in the logo font and showing a darker blue behind outside lettering - but as note previously it can just be metal on metal in different textures - high polish over matte texture.

sure - and the color behind lettering could just be metal with a texture on the coin that we often do where the raised metal is a high polish and the metal behind is matte and textured - just hard to show in 2 dimensions.

Would you try something of a more classic or gothic font for the CALIFORNIA REPUBLIC? And then maybe a different background color behind the lettering to make the letters pop more? Thank you.

Hi Carol, the actual image of the bear and the flag is not copyrighted. We intend to make clear in our materials that we are not a state entity and our logo is the reverse side of the challenge coin. Thanks for the design, I like it.

do you have the copyright permission to use the official CA state bear on your item? Please indicate that if you do Otherwise we should not use that image. I put stars on border but can change that my company makes coins often for clients and we are in Northern CA - thanks Carol
