I like all the variations of this basic design that you have shown. It really allows us to see the advantages/ disadvantages of the different colors and the placement of the "C" and the "3".

All of your revised designs using blue and black as primary colors look much nicer. Maybe try to incorporate a bit of orange and/or gray for highlights.

Perhaps adding the tag line in lower case will help. Blue and black should probably be primary colors, with orange and grey as secondary colors.
