Idea is to have the tree encased in something angular to match the font. Just an idea..... 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer Hi, here is the option from #149, with diamond shape outline(This comment references Entry #177) 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer option for #149 again, top diamond shape outline, i think its better (proportion&balance) and still match with the font (shape) too. let me know. thanks(This comment references Entry #178) 13 years ago Sally Hoskins Client I like the hexagon one very much. (177)Both that and the circle work on multiple levelsCould you try century gothic font all caps for Tag line?Or a slightly rounder font--just on 177 and the circle versionOf it?Thanks 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer No problem, am still offline for a couple hours, when am back online i'll submit new option per your request . Thanks! 13 years ago Sally Hoskins Client Like the hexagon a lot --my favorite right now--Can you try some different all capsFont for tag lineA friend suggested helvetica lightOr comparableJust trying to make it look open and not crowdedThanks 13 years ago Sally Hoskins Client Can you do a version of 40The DNA With same picture but the create"a" inThe more vertical orientationAnd "transform understanding of science"As the tag line in the same green as in the DNA?So DNA is sameCreate is same color with new aTag lime is different and greenThanks 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer am back, i will submit new entry asap. sorry for waiting 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer option for #40. is that what you want?(This comment references Entry #209) 13 years ago Sally Hoskins Client HiWe want to see ONE MORE from you: it is the logo from #40 (the DNA) replacing the logo from #178 Ithe tree in the hexagonthat is, I think we are going to go with #178 fonts and with the logo being the DNA in our final pick. Can you do that one before the contest ends? It is a logo replacement in #178thanks 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer sure !! please wait a minutes 13 years ago Sally Hoskins Client HiThanks for 209, that is almost ITThe last "E" needs a periodThe small font needs to go back to black (we re thought it)Could the alignment of the small font and the CREATE be adjusted? Adding the E. period after E will give a little more space.I'm thinking they should be flush left so the "transforming" is right under the C and not a bit to the left? This is a small thing. thanks 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer DNA in Hexagon(This comment references Entry #211) 13 years ago Sally Hoskins Client oops! 211 is not what I meantWe want 209 with three changes1) a period after the E in C.R.E.A.T.E.2) black font instead of green for Transform Understanding....3) realignment of Transform understanding so it is not to the left of the C in CREATE (if possible, if this can be done without throwing off the design. Adding the period after the E (so it is E.) will make C.R.E.A.T.E. a bit wider which might help?thanks 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer sorry:) this is the new option, let me know(This comment references Entry #213) 13 years ago Sally Hoskins Client Wow, now that I see that final period after E. i like it better withoutSo can you take it out? I see you have centered the "transform understanding...." This might work (ie 213 minus the final period may be the final)But I would still like to see a version with the tag line the same width as C.R.E.A.T.E (no period)I hadn't noticed til today that nearly all designs lack that period and it actually looks better that waySo could you try that? It would make the tag line a ilttle wider than it is now--don't know if that means a different font or some kind of justificaiton or what. The font is good so if you can just stretch it a bit that's what we'd like to see.thanks 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer here they are, without period(This comment references Entry #228) 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer force justify style tagline(This comment references Entry #229) 13 years ago Sally Hoskins Client Maybe just 209 as is, with black font instead of green on the tag line would do itthat is pretty well aligned 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer many thanks:) i learn many things from your logo designing process.. 13 years ago Sally Hoskins Client thanks. I'm really liking theseWaiting for a call back from my collaborator to take a final lookCould you take 213 and make the tag line flush with the period on the E.? (yes, back to the one with the period, just in case.)So now there would be a little space on the left before "Transform" starts, and then the tag line would end flush with the period. It would be a layout just like 228 except now it would extend a little farther to the right.I was worried that it would look 'dangling' under the period but maybe not. I'd like to see it anyway just to checkthanks!! 13 years ago Sally Hoskins Client and could you move the tag line down just a little bit so there it is not quite so close to the bottom of CREATE?Just a small shift would create a little white space in between--would like to see how that looksthanks 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer here they are, flush the tagline with the end period & adding more space between create & tagline.(This comment references Entry #236) 13 years ago Sally Hoskins Client OK Let's go with 228 with just a teensy big more white space between CREATE and the tag lineOrientation of tag line is finejust move it down a little bit like in 236 and THAT (228 with the little extra space) will be our final pick.I am assuming you sent me only one new one a minute ago; I only go t 236thankscontest ends in 20 min! 13 years ago slab04 Logo Designer Adding a space between(This comment references Entry #237) 13 years ago Sally Hoskins Client This is our first contest and we have to check to see how to proceed but fyi we are picking YOUR design as our winnerIt is either 228 or the one that might come in the next few minutes (extra white space) if you had time to do it before the deadline.
