Entry #5 does not appeal to me at all. Don't care for the "blocked" look...does not flow at all. The "by" looks misplaced. The overall logo is very cramped looking.
I really like #4...is the closest to what I am looking for. Upon first glance one might think it says he Said...is there a way to make the "S" of the emblem slightly more prominent? This is very close! Also...perhaps the "d" in Said could have a slight flowing "tail" or line of some sort to promote the viewer to look on...? Don't know if this is clear re. my intention here. I'm seeing a continuation of the d but ever so slight.
Re. #6. We are really close. Please refer to the website: emclairepoet.com. (Specifically view the "about Em" page). This is an example of the color variation I wish to use on my site. As I deal in rusted metal art for one of my lines...this will give you an idea of the desired shading. The current logo (at least on my MAC appears to be more of a burgandy.)
I would like to see a tad less space between the S and the a in "said" (sorry to be so precise) as my eye see aid. More like the spacing between the h and the emblem in She. Also, just in order to see the difference, could you please align the tail of the d in Said so it doesn't drop quite so far..it makes me think the said is a bit off (slanting down). I may be incorrect in this direction but I'd like to see the difference.
I'm sooo liking this logo...it's fitting the feeling I wish to elicit in my work. Thank you for your patience!.
#19 Right on with the gold color ... really like the gradation of light from the center. The red is still in the burgundy family I believe. Can you make the red the same as in the other logos (sorry I know I'm not supposed to reference other logos to you...it's just that those reflect the red I'm looking for).
One other thing I would like to see...can you make the large S Scroll of the symbol solid as opposed to the current broken lines? Just would like to see.
