Comment Activity Butternut Goldens commented on #263 Thank you so much for your fantastic creativity and good aesthetic sense and for all your help creating our logo! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #263 Great to hear! Thank you! I’m not sure what happened to that sentence either. Asking if it possible to get the separate elements of the logo in separate files: • Butternut Goldens white circle • the artwork ball of mountains and fields • the 3 dogs 3 months ago RVICS commented on #263 Thank You! these are the file format that will be included in the final files : PNG AI PDF SVG EPS I will add B&W version in PDF format. it is possible to get the version where each of the element you mentioned are separated. The color and the font details will be included in the final files. I'm sorry I'm not totally understand with the following sentence: "A to get a separate file a the circle with the Butternut Goldens?" 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #263 This works! Thank you! I think this Logo is absolutely spot and epic! Thank you for your patience, expertise and responsiveness! To be able to utilize this beautiful epic Logo in different applications, would it be possible to have it in the following file types: .ai, .svg, .eps, .pdf and .png Can you include B&W versions? A to get a separate file a the circle with the Butternut Goldens? Can I get the main mountain illustration as a separate file? Can I get the dogs as a separate file? What are the specific PMS colors used for the elements so we can be sure to match the color for our different applications. What fonts are used in this Logo? 3 months ago RVICS commented on #254 Withdrawn Sure, here is the update #263 Thank You! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #254 Withdrawn Everything is great on #254, except for the dog’s tail to the right. I think if you brought the blonde lighter color gradient up more into the darker golden part of the tail, that could work. Thank you so much for being amazing about all of the edits! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #252 Withdrawn Thank you so much for showing me all of those options! Good to see. #254 is looking strong. 3 months ago RVICS commented on #252 Withdrawn Ok, we have two options for color #255 #256 I wanted to let you know that the main font we are using in this entry #252 has been chosen to convey a sense of luxury and trustworthiness. It helps to create a sophisticated and reliable image. there are more font options available here: #257 and #258 are also good and similar to the original font with less sharp edges. here are the other options #259 #260 #261 #262 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #252 Withdrawn Re: Color green May need to be a little lighter in #253 & #254. Re: Font for “Butternut Goldens.”like it, but seeing a lot of sharp edges. Do have any suggestion for a friendly, softer font that conveys quality and trustworthiness? 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #254 Withdrawn Would want a little less dark green please . Like #252 but with gradient. 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #252 Withdrawn Nice work! Like both 253 & 254. 3 months ago RVICS commented on #252 Withdrawn Thank You! Update #253 now all the green are using the same gradient, a mix of green and blue. for your option, #254 darker green and lighter green 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #252 Withdrawn #252 Wow! Strong work! 🌟 Thank you! Edits - Re: The band color behind GOLDENS Can you make it white like it is above in BUTTERNUT for one continuous ring? Re: Green area Can you make it one continuous shading of green instead of different color bands of greens? Using dark to lighter shades of green — similar the blue in the mountains, which works nicely. Thank you! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #252 Withdrawn Tail: Looks a lot better, but would like it less curved upwards. Thanks 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #251 Withdrawn Great work on the dog’s mouth. Like it! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #252 Withdrawn This is pretty awesome! 🌟 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #252 Withdrawn Pretty and creative! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #244 Withdrawn That’s ok! Don’t worry about the tennis ball version. Too much to ask of you at this time. 3 months ago RVICS commented on #247 Withdrawn Here is the new layout #252 I hope I have executed your vision correctly 3 months ago RVICS commented on #244 Withdrawn Hi, I apologize for the delay, I wasn't at home yesterday and couldn't make the revisions right away. Here are the new updates based on the pictures you provided. Please let me know if there are any further adjustments needed. #251 #250 I will upload the tennis ball version soon. Thank You! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #247 Withdrawn Apologies! Way too big of new concept to consider at this point. Maybe something for the future! Cancel tennis ball shape idea. Apologies for flip flop. 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #244 Withdrawn Tail in drawing is too bushy, too heavy, 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #244 Withdrawn Also tail on dog to the right needs a little more refinement, shaping and tidying up. Please see uploaded dark image of dog with light coming thru neatly groomed tail. Would like a hint of a little space between dog’s rear and tail. Thanks! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #247 Withdrawn The entire logo resembling the shape of a big tennis ball, not just the mountain scene. 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #244 Withdrawn Mouth needs to close a little more. 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #244 Withdrawn Bottom lip in drawing needs to be little thicker. 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #247 Withdrawn How about curving GOLDENS on the bottom to create a circle? 🎾 👉 Here’s an epic idea: is there a way to make this scene abstractly resemble a large tennis ball thru shape, word placement, spacing, horizon / or line of the field? Not by using the color of a tennis ball. But just by shaping or moving elements already here. I think it could be super cool. Please see new image uploaded of tennis ball where you can see indentation space. 🎾 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #244 Withdrawn The mouth of the dog on the left is still look right. I will post a photo of a puppy’s head with the mouth I’m looking for. 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #246 Withdrawn Sorry, I didn’t describe clearly. I did not mean a bigger mountain. I was looking for the whole circle with the mountain scene bigger, expanded out. 3 months ago RVICS commented on #243 Withdrawn Sure, The new entries are here #244 #245 #246 #247 #248 #249 the original entry with new edits : #244 #248 #249 #245 with a tennis ball #246 with bigger mountain #247 new text layout 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #243 Withdrawn If edits around tennis ball are too time consuming — hold off for now. 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #243 Withdrawn Also: Would like to see how it translates into black & white. Thank you! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #243 Withdrawn Also re: dog lips — would like it a couple shades darker than it is. 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #243 Withdrawn Getting there! Narrowing down. Like to see a few variations: 1. This one with the dog fixes & tennis ball. 2. One with BUTTERNUT at top curved and GOLDENS underneath with same type where G and S are slightly bigger. 3. Like #243 with dog fixes but with the mountain scene larger / wider. We’re almost there! Thank you! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #243 Withdrawn Nice fixes! The deeper blue river is a beautiful color. Excellent work on changing the size of dog. Re: Dog on right: Good work on the lip line. Nicely done! • Front chest needs a lot longer fur. Please see uploaded images. Re: Dog on left Would like the corner of the lip line more like the dog on right: thicker and rounded. Not sure if the tennis ball works, especially with the brown outline. What would the ball look like without outline? Or if it needs an outline may a thin lighter color or dark outline? 3 months ago RVICS commented on #240 Withdrawn Sure, I hope I'm on the right track. Here are the updates #242 #243 with and without the tennis ball. Thank You! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #240 Withdrawn Dog on the right: Muzzle should be slightly longer. 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #240 Withdrawn Dog on the right: • Make a little more larger, so it looks like a drawing of a dog that is 2”’inches taller than the one on the left. • lip line needs a very slight upward turn. Thank you 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #240 Withdrawn To dog on left: • Add similar longer chest fur. • Change lip line corner turn upwards instead down • Trim pointed tip off dogs tail for a flatter end. • Would it be possible to add a tennis ball to dog’s mouth? To dog on right: add a lot more chest fur. 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #240 Withdrawn Yes, try a darker blue for the river. Remove: Experience 3 months ago RVICS commented on #239 Withdrawn Yes, Sure. We have two new versions #240 #241 The color of the river is now the same as the color of the mountain, If needed, I can make it darker. Thank You! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #239 Withdrawn Re: Color. Great choice! I wasn’t sure if I was seeing black or a dark green on my screen. I like dark green. #238 letter size is better than #239. Thank you for showing me. How about this, would like to try and see: Having “EXPERIENCE” Rounded at the top. And insert “Golden Retrievers” Below GOLDENS. May want to remove gold block around Goldens and have gold block around “Golden Retrievers.” See what you think will work. Re: Dogs Improvement on tail and puppy looks good. Nice work. Can you make eyes on all dogs just a little bigger? Can you darken noses a bit on adult dogs? Dog on right: Can you add a little chest fringe? Can you add a hint of a darker lip line? Dog on left: Can you make tongue hang out less? Not thrilled with tongue color, but not sure how to fix that? Can you reduce the size of left dog to help indicate it’s a female? Or increase size of dog on right a little to indicate it’s a male? Re: scene behind Is that a road or is it a river above puppy’s head? How would it look if it was dark blue? (Using same color family as dark blue mountain.) Thank you 3 months ago RVICS commented on #237 Withdrawn Sure, here are the updates #238 #239 the color is #003A2B RGB in this entry #239 , the EST. 1998 lettering has the same kerning as the GOLDEN RETRIEVER EXPERIENCE. Thank You! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #237 Withdrawn Can you make “Golden Retriever Experience” the same size/bokd/font as EST. 1998? What color is the lettering? 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #237 Withdrawn Much better, thank you! 3 months ago RVICS commented on #234 Withdrawn Hi, I hope these adjustments are in the right direction for the fringe. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find IMG 2984 because the picture names in the contest attachment have been changed. Please let me know if there's anything else you'd like to modify. #236 #237 Thank You! 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #234 Withdrawn Re: dog & puppy graphics: • Puppy On puppy’s chest — Please remove pointy-ness. Puppies don’t have a long chest fur, more short fuzz. Dog in left: Can you close the dog’s mouth a little? On front leg, line over the elbow curves forward over the body — can you make the line straighter and a little shorter? Repeat fix to dog on right. Dog on right: Can you straighten and fix fringe on tail to look like uploaded IMG 2984? Thanks 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #234 Withdrawn Using this model — Try: “Goldens” bigger to where the G in Goldens fills all the way to the U in BUTTER…. and the S under the U ….NUT. Make maple leaf larger. Bold EST. 🍁 1998 Thanks! Remove: Vermont 3 months ago RVICS commented on #229 Withdrawn Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words. I'm more than happy to make the remaining edits. Best regards. here are the new variations for the text #233 #234 #235 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #229 Withdrawn Congratulations Logo Contest Winner!! Well done. Love your work! There are a few leftover remaining edits. Look forward to working more in the coming days to finalize. 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #229 Withdrawn ESTD should be EST. Would like EST 1998 stand out a little more. Different placement? 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #229 Withdrawn Nice subtle touch. 3 months ago RVICS commented on #229 Withdrawn this version has golden shade color for the outline. 3 months ago RVICS commented on #218 Withdrawn Sure. New updates #227 #228 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #218 Withdrawn Instead of black lettering for Golden retriever experience try same golden color as field 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #218 Withdrawn Can’t really see “Golden Retriever Experience.” Can you move it above, Outside the circle and in black lettering? I like the font, just maybe a little bigger or bold? On puppy’s chest — Please remove points and make definitions 1 slightly rounded. Puppies really don’t have a long chest fur, more short fuzz. 3 months ago RVICS commented on #190 Withdrawn Sure, here are the updates #217 and #218 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #190 Withdrawn And can you please: • Shorten the adult dogs back just a little, so dogs are a little less long? • Make “Goldens” a bigger? • add “Vermont” Thanks 3 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #190 Withdrawn Front legs looked like they are curved. Can you fix the look of the 2 adult dogs front legs, chest and shoulders to look like uploaded IMG 3007, 3284, 3285? And let’s try putting “Golden Retriever Experience” at the top curved around sky. Thanks 3 months ago RVICS commented on #190 Withdrawn Thank You! 4 months ago RVICS commented on #191 Withdrawn ok, there are 2 new versions for this entry #203 #204 one is slightly bolder. Thank You! 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #191 Withdrawn Thank you for this example. Really like this font in Butternut! Clear and strong. Liked how you put Experience white in the sky and Vermont green below. Try bolder, bigger, more visible? Thank you 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #190 Withdrawn * Love the color of the fields, mountains and dogs. They all Go well together! 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #190 Withdrawn Love the color of the files and mountains! Beautiful. 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #190 Withdrawn Excellent correction of puppy paws. 4 months ago RVICS commented on #153 Withdrawn Hi, There are 3 new versions #190 #191 #192 I hope I'm on the right track. Thank You! 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #153 Withdrawn Please try: • remove golden retriever experience. • add to top: Experience • add to bottom: Vermont Thank you! 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #153 Withdrawn Oh and like the leaf, but can you make it a maple leaf? 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #153 Withdrawn Thanks! Nice work on the shading and fixing puppy without overdoing it. Can you make all of the dog’s eyes a little bigger? Is there a way to make it so it doesn’t look like the puppies paws are turning outward? And less front ruff hair on puppy please. Thank you! Nice work. 4 months ago Butternut Goldens added markup for #153 Withdrawn 4 months ago RVICS commented on #149 Withdrawn yes sure, adding the shades and longer neck for the puppy, one neck is longer than the other #153 #152 I added more lighter shades, let me know what you think. Thank You! 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #149 Withdrawn I like the font on Butternut. 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #149 Withdrawn Also, can you make the golden shading on the dogs with the darker shade on top and lighter toward the bottom? Or just underside of the tail? 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #149 Withdrawn Better puppy! Are you able to give the puppy a neck? 4 months ago RVICS commented on #116 Withdrawn Thank You! the updated version is uploaded here #149 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #116 Withdrawn Much Better!! Thank you for your submissions and changes! Better adult dogs. I like how the dogs pop and are central focus. I like this composition and colors. Love the mountains and field. I like having a puppy in it, however the puppy type is lacking. I don’t like the head shape, ears set low and are too big. I like the smooth rounded mess of the adult dog heads. 4 months ago RVICS commented on #79 Withdrawn New Update #116 #115 4 months ago RVICS commented on #79 Withdrawn Thank You for your feedback. Just to confirm, you would like the mountain scene to be larger and for the edges to gradually fade into the background. Is that correct? I can make a wider version of the mountain scene with 3 goldens underneath. 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #80 Withdrawn Thank you for your submission! I’m Awesome work on getting the mountain and fields right! I like this playful scene. I like how one is in the truck and others being playful. Edits needed: 1. An important feature (as a breeder of champion dogs) and one that is difficult for people to get right is the conformation of dogs. These Golden’s • Legs are a little too spindly • muzzle need less angulation, not as strong or square as I’d like • tails could be a little fuller and straighter • front bib hair could be little more prominent. 2. Like to see truck pushed back into less prominence and dogs brought forward. 3. Add: Golden Retriever Experience. Thank you for participating! 4 months ago Butternut Goldens commented on #79 Withdrawn Thank you for your submission! I like the colors, great mountain scene! Pretty spot on. Dog choice is pretty good too. 1. Can you make the mountain scene bigger and with disappearing free edge? 2. Can you add 2 more Goldens? 3. Add: Golden Retriever Experience 4. EST 1998 or Since 1998 Thank you for participating! 4 months ago
