Sorry, ranking sagas. If you could add some green to the trees and foreground shrubs and horizon shrubs. The land and background shrubs to the left of the hikers could be turned into a water element by making it blue. Keeping the orange hill to the right. Increase the WA size. Thanks
Pictorial part could maybe be bigger.
As in your higher ranked version maybe tree/s at top left could extend outside 'frame' to increase the informal look.
Bushwalking WA needs to be all same font.
See updated docx for 2 additional logo styles showing local elements & styles. Idea of typical trees extending outside logo circle might work.
The 'WA' needs to be same font size as Bushwalking.
Need some green and preferably a lighter look.
The hiker silhouettes are OK. Thx.
Similar comments apply as for your other higher ranked version.
Wrapped around text needs to be in form of Bushwalking WA (not Western Australia) and to have the mix of uc and lc.
We're not keen on the hard outer edge and quite formal look (see Style inspirations), but logo does still need to be able to remain clear (not get lost) on a variety of coloured backgrounds and photo images.
Walker shapes look good.
Tree shape looks like a cypress pine rather than typical WA eucalypt tree shape (eg karri tree) as in brief docx. Even if requires adjusting pictorial to a less rigidly bounded button to a squared shape with a less geometric shape giving more informal, softer, less constrained outline, as in most of our style inspiration choices.
Trees/bushes on rhs horizon would be better replaced by increasing orange area to make it a rounded hill shape to evoke our typical granite domed hill tops.
As in most of our Style inspiration choices we'd prefer text to be more of a unit with the pictorial part, maybe wrapping around, rather than sitting out to the side.
Thanks for efforts to date.
White silhouette figure doesn't look as good as the black version (but lighter background colors in your higher ranked version could lighten that one up.)
Background looks more like a globe than evoking a hiking environment.
We would rank this one and your other ranked version lower.
The style has a reasonably modern feel to it, but would prefer to have more unity between the round 'button' and the text.
Preferably more than one person silhouette required for impression of shared, social/group activity.
Preferably stylised tree shapes to be included to be more clearly suggestive of forest.
Preferably some curves that more clearly suggest a hiking trail.
Also, a small day pack in place of large backpack more typical of our walking here. Thanks
