Entry 11--I like the graphic/logo change (something a bit more descriptive than a simple cross). Would be curious to see any other logo options, color variations (on the logo) and other potential fonts for Burnips. Thanks

Sure, I'll update soon.

Entry 17--Has some possibilities. Still think I like Entry #11 better. Any other symbols...like maybe squares? Just curious. See what a more "playful" font looks like.

Entry 16--similar thoughts to Entry #17. Like 17 a tad bit better to #16.

YES, I'LL UPDATE SOON, WORKING ON IT.

Entry 25--I like the "Burnips" font better. Not as crazy about the "diamond-shaped" cross symbol. Would be interesting to see the "Burnips" font with Entries 16, 17, and 11. Not to keep you too busy...is there any possible way to incorporate the subtitle of worship, connect, serve and grow (or worshiping, connecting, serving and growing). I know it's a lot of verbiage (may be too much). I like your ideas though.

Entries 27-30--I really like the new font for Burnips (see other comment). I also like the symbol. I would be curious to see any other color varieties Entry #30 (including the 4-color variety that you used before). I will likely be needing a mix between monocrome and color options. My comment earlier about the subtitle that involves worship, connect, serve and grow..these are four key parts of our mission. I could envision the four points of your symbol (of the cross) as a reference to those four components. However...it may make the logo too busy and unreadable. Thanks for your work on this.

Entry #64 and #67--I like the new 4-icon look in these entries. Am wondering if you could tie the actual symbols more to our 4-point mission. Again...not to have you work too much but here's a thought...
Worship—a cross (in the red square...instead of a heart)
Connect—circle or circular arrow (in the orange square)
Serve—a sideways shape of a hand (in the blue square)
Grow—tree bud (in the green square)

Would also like to see any possible references to the words Worship--Connect--Serve--Grow in a subtitle if that's possible. Again...sorry for so many thoughts back to you.

Entry #67...one more thing...looks like the "Burnips" font size is getting smaller with the changes. A larger font size might be better. Just guessing here! Thanks.

Entry #62 and #63--don't care for the symbols outside of the square boxes as much.

Entry #65 and #66--the colors are ok. Not sure that I like them better than the other entries. If you altared the symbols (like I refered to with entries in #64 and #67...then it might work.

Entry #68--not crazy about the color.

Thanks for all of your work on this!

Entry #72--Several comments.

1. The phrase "Wesleyan Church" needs to come below the primary word "Burnips" (as it did in the other entries).
2. The spelling needs to be updated on the word "Worship".
3. Instead of having all four squares forming a "diamond shape", could you form them to make a "square" shape..in the following order: cross (upper left), circular arrow (upper right), hands (bottom left) and growing plant (bottom right). This would have them read in the same order: worship, connect, serve and grow. The "white space" between the smaller squares could actually have somewhat of a cross shape.
4. Can the circular arrow symbol actually show an arrow that's forming a circle (denotes a connecting)?
5. Can the plant look a little more alive? It looks like it's wilting.
6. Maybe the phrase: "Worship. Connect. Serve. Grow" could be double spaced from the 2nd line (Wesleyan Church). I think the font size of Wesleyan Church (which is less prominent than "Burnips" should still be a larger font than "Worship. Connect. Serve. Grow"
7. Another option for this entire logo would be to provide a version with the changes above...but without the subtitle of "Worship. Connect. Serve. Grow." (Just curious what both options look like).

Overall...I like the way this is progressing. It's taken on an overall look that I like better than your original drafts. Sorry for the large number of comments.

Thanks for your work on this!

Entry #72--If you weren't already tired of making all the changes....one additional option if you had time...would be to also try the color scheme that you tried in Entry #65 just to see if I liked those colors with the newly improved symbols. Again...sorry if I'm giving too much feedback. Contest is almost over! Thanks.

Entry #71--I like the descriptive words under the symbols (except it needs to be "worship" not "workship"). However, I'm afraid it may be "too busy".

Entry #101--Thanks for all of your great work. Before I finalize the judging, I need to know a couple of my options on this...

1. A friend of mine came across an extremely similar logo to this for the foursquare church denomination. I couldn't believe that the upper-left hand symbol was a cross in a red square. I had never seen that logo ever. (see at www.foursquare.org). Is there anything that we can do to that upper-left square to make it more unique? Perhaps a cross inside a heart? Or switching or rearranging the colors (but green should stay with the plant)?

2. The "hand" logo in Entry #71 looks cleaner than in Entry #101. Could you put that one in Entry #101?

3. I'm not sure how many different versions or files would be included in the winning entry. Would like to consider a "tweaked" version of Entry #71 (with corrected spelling, updated symbols--same as #101, a little larger font for "Wesleyan Church"), and an extra blank line above "Burnips". Again...we can talk about this later.

Again...thanks for all of your great work on this.

Hello there! The final winning files are 2 : one vector and one raster, whichthe winner have to upload to the side so you can download them. Everything else which you want can be sent you by e-mail from the winner. Ok. So to make a revisions?

I wasn't sure if revisions could be made once the contest had ended. Then I saw in the FAQ this statement, "We recommend requesting all revisions while your contest is running or during the judging mode"

Since I am now in the "judging mode", I thought I would try to address my concerns in the previous post and see if you could tweak Entry #101 based on the comments before I ended the "judging stage".

Thanks for your help!

Entry #109--Don't care for the cross inside the heart. It's too crowded. I really need to use the cross. However, I need it to look different from the logo used at www.foursquare.org (I still can't believe that this similarity existed). Other potential ways to solve this problem...

1. A more air-brushed cross (less straight and less formal) with red (existing) color.
2. A combination of air-brushed + different color. (maybe purple).
3. A rearranging of the colors so that red isn't the upper-left.

Also need to correct the spelling of "Wesleyan"

Thanks!

Before I'm complete the judging...I'm still having problems coming to closure with the logo that is already being used at www.foursquare.org. (These are a group of churches that are NOT affiliated with our church and theirs is a copyrighted logo).

I really like the individual squares and symbols as in #116. I like the colors. I envision using each individual square for other uses (for things specifically for worship, connecting, serving and growing) as well as using all of the squares together.

Do you have any other creative ways to display the four squares as one conglomerate without having four-squares-in-a-square (as displayed in www.foursquare.org)? Again...I didn't really care fo the diamond shape of squares from Entry #72. Perhaps...offset squares...random squares.

Sorry...not meaning to be difficult. Just trying to keep myself from getting into trouble with a church denomination that is based on "four squares".

Thanks so much for your patience.

Perhaps a solution is to arrange the new symbols/colors/squares to something similar in #71.
