Entry 38--I really like the use of the subtitle about worship, connect, serve and grow (although I realize it's pretty wordy and can be difficult in including in a simple logo. The symbol itself seems a bit too artsy for our rural, informal church. Also...not crazy about having the word "Wesleyan" standing out with its own color. Since Burnips is our community...I'd prefer the word "Burnips" to stand out with "Wesleyan Church" being less emphasized words. Also, I tend to like the symbol on the left-side...not sure why (I'm sure there could be exceptions to this). Great work.

Entry 39 & 40--Not sure the difference between these two...Like the look. Like the logo. Would be curious about any other varieties with this...more of a horizontal style vs. vertical style...any possible use of the subtitle (worship, connect, serve & grow)? Any other color schemes? Just curious.

Entry 34--like the simplicity of it. Any possibility of 4 circles (again...relating back to the subtitle theme of worship, connect, serve and grow). Any other color schemes?

Entry #35-- Simple and playful. I like this...not sure that I like better than some of the others...but it's good.

Entry #36--Crisp and clear. Maybe a bit formal (maybe even too "cool" for our rural/informal church). Again...I like the look though.

Entry #37--a bit too simple. Not what I'm looking for. Thanks.

Diana,

Overall...thanks for adding some different "looks". I really like your work and your definitely giving me some different options to consider. I especially like your variety.

Entry #47--I like the new colors in #47 better than the previous color in Entry #39 and #40 or the newer colors in Entry #50.

As for Entry #50 and Entry #49, I like the look of the horizontal moreso than the vertical (although I might have a need for both). Do you think the subtitle will be large enough to read (I can't really tell from the "enlarge" view function that I'm bound to in my web browser). Again...I like the new colors better than the teal option previously.

Entry #53 and #54--I like both color schemes. Am still wondering whether the subtitle needs to be larger (or less wordier). But overall...I like the look of the logo. Not sure whether the four balls say anything? (I like them...just not sure). This is an improvement over Entry #34 previously.

Entry #56--Like the colors. Probably not my favorite overall logo...but not bad. (Gee...you make it hard with all of the choices!) Thanks Diana!

Entries #57, #60, #61-- Just not crazy about the symbols (butterfly, circular blades, etc). Thanks!

Entry #49--sorry for the repeat...these designs are starting to pile up! :) I think the colors from Entry #47 would go better with Entry #49. Am a bit concerned about being able to read the subtitle. Could font-size be adjusted (or just an emphasis on the key words: worshiping, connecting, serving, growing. (or try both options). Thanks!

Entry #75-- This logo has turned out quite nicely. I like the simplicity of it. The colors look good. Not sure what I would change about it. Might would experiment with the subtitle and use periods instead of commas and lose the word "and" just for fun. Might would also try a version with one extra blank line between "Wesleyan Church" and the subtitle. Other than that...I really like it. Great job!

Entry #75--one of the things that I'm trying to balance out is the different uses that this overall logo would have: bulletin vs. letterhead vs. website vs. exterior sign. While I like the subtitle explaining "worship, connect, serve and grow"...I'm not sure if that's too much text for an exterior sign vs. a website...etc. Thanks for your help!

Well, you can always use just the name, not the subtitle.
Usually the subtitle (slogan) is just used to bulletin, letterhead etc, but when is for places like churches it can be used just the "Burnips Wesleyan Church", but it all depends of how is the exterior.

Its not a "rule" that you need to use all the entire logo, but is nice to have a "complete" logo (icon and letters) so you can combine sometimes using just the icon, sometimes just the name and sometimes the name, subtitle and icon. It all depends on what are you trying to do. Thats the beauty of design!! :D

Entry #84, #85, #86, #87, #88, #89

1. I like the variety of color schemes (not sure which one I like the best). The newer blue one is good from #89.
2. #84--I like the BURNIPS font the best as used in #84 and #85.
3. #88 and #89--don't like the phrase "Wesleyan Church" on the top. It needs to follow "BURNIPS". The colors are good though. Again...I like the fonts from #84 and #85.

Hello Again!!
So, what do you have in mind?? Something new? Remember that only 1st ranked can submit entries during judging time, so if you want something more you need to swich me to first place so i can submit designs and then you can rank as you want :) Also with other designers that are on some other down places you can put them on first place and ask them for more changes.

I think (about my designs) entry Entry #84 and Entry #47 are the best (of course you prefer the horizontal side for the name) but is the same, you can use both. But i think this style and colors are really good for what you are looking: something informal but with Family-based. The "icon" and colors together conveys something religious and this is really important, so it cant be confused with a school, or kindergarden or something different.

Hope this was helpful to you!!

Best Regards
