I'm really intrigued by this logo. I wish your color palette were brighter. The tree is very provocative, but the the branches are too barren and sparse. Would you mind trying oak leaves or acorns in place of the grape leaves on the sides of this logo? This has GREAT potential, just would like to see it brighter and a fuller tree.
Regarding #14- Thanks for brightening this up. Looks good. I'd like to see how it might look with with the gold around the outer rim of the logo lightened a bit. Can you take that same color and screen it back 20 to 30%? I'd also like to the orientation of the acorns shift towards the outside of the logo. Right now, they are pointing inwards and inadvertently giving the logo a sort of "figure 8" look. Pointing them outwards might give the overall shape of the logo a little more interesting look. Make sense? While you're at it, I might have you add a bit more "girth" to the trunk of the tree. Our inspiartion tree is a landmark in this region as it is over 400 years old and has a circumference of over 20 feet....it's huge and majestic! Thanks for your effort.
I LOVE the brightness of #24. I'm contemplating the harshness of the square corners....I could get used to it, though! Here's an odd request- could you replace the acorns laying at the base of the tree with a bicycle? There is a 120-mile bike trail that runs right next to this tree and our town is bicycle-crazy. I'm thinking that an old fashioned bicycle would look really cool laying next to the tree and would carry a lot of symbolism on a local level.
I think I like #31 best because it doesn't obscure the view of the tree. Can you make the bicycle red or blue? Can you also round the corners on the perimeter of the logo slightly to soften it up a bit?
I think we're very close on this logo. Would like to have BUR OAK Brewing reversed out of a dark chocolate brown instead of the green. Would also like the proportion of the logo to be a little wider so that we can see a little more tree. We were hoping to brighten up the green in this logo in an effort to brighten up the entire logo. We'd also like to lose the acorns at the bottom of the logo. If you're willing to make these changes, I think we've got a done deal. Are you in?
What are your thoughts on making the following change on #71:
Instead of reversing "Bur Oak Brewing" out of green, reverse it out of a chocolate/dark brown? That might force you to use a different color for the outline of the logo but we're thinking the reverse out of dark brown would be more impactful.
Any chance of seeing #14 with one acorn on each side?
