can you make the mouth a bit more closed. Like he really crushes the bud. And maybe make the hippo more angry looking.

Maybe can you make the grinder shape/frame a bit larger? But i really like that the frame of it all is the shape of the grinder

I like that you implement the shape of the grinder. Can you make the hippo mirror. So it comes from left to right. Can you try to change the leave into a bud with leave as on the attachment?
