#2 I really like the idea of the lightbulb. Can you try it with it over the text so it can be a bit more obvious what it is. Could I see some options with the carrot greens showing more than 3 star bursts.

With #8 the bar graph is an interesting concept good try but not as good as the lightbulb.

Hi interesting concept on 17. Did you try it with the carrots pointing out too. might like to see that. With the five bursts on 16, the way the added greens now go sidewise makes it look somewhat less like a carrot could you try them going more vertical? Thanks for the efforts.

Hi, I hope you had a good Christmas. I wanted to let you know that despite getting a lot more logos, I continue to really like your concept #2. I would really appreciate it if you could see what you could do to perhaps refine it a bit. I think that #16 based on my suggestion did not improve it since it looked less like a carrot top. I like keeping the balance between carrot and light bulb. I am wondering if it would improve it to see it with a bit more dimensionality. I like the sanserif font, and but would appreciate perhaps seeing some other type faces, I like the simplicity but might like something a tad more distinctive. What sort of things do you think could improve it?

thanks for your efforts, Jim

Hi Glendon, Thanks for the new designs. It is interesting to see the lightbulb with the CFL design. It actually is shaped more like a carrot, but does not have the iconic lightbulb = good idea presence of the traditional bulb. 65 seems to lose the carrot concept. I think the trick is continuing to find that the bulb looks like a carrot. Could we try something that looks a bit more like the carrot greens that some other designers have used for example #69. The glow on the bulb on #63 may also cause this to lean more toward lightbulb than carrot.

Regarding type, I prefer the Upper lower case type treatment with the bold face on the "bright" could you try the new font that way on the #2 as an option, also if you have some other fonts that you think would be good options too I would appreciate that .

thanks for all your efforts,

Jim

Here are the revisions. I will look through some fonts and see if there are any others that would look good.

Hi Glendon,

Sorry to be out of touch for the past few days. I had to do some traveling following the new year holiday and am just getting back to this.I did extend the judging period to make sure we have a bit more time but dont worry you are the winner. I added a few days to the period but would like to wrap this up perhaps even today if possible.

I want to go with the CF bulb design but am hoping that we could do few tweaks to what you have provided.Hopefully these should be simple changes.

1. I would like to add a tip to the bulb to give it a point like there is on the traditional bulb rather than a flat end. I think this will make it more carrot-like.
2. Looking at designs 162, 163, 164, I am wondering if we could find a middle ground between 162 and 164, rather than use the yellow as the background bulb strand, could you try a lighter orange to give it some dimension yet try to stay in the orange shades. Solid orange like 164 seems too closed but the yellow seems a bit out of place and too much of a contrast from the orange.
3. I like the font that you are using on these designs.I would like to also see it in lower case both words not bold and Upper-lower not bold. Also, could we see all lower with the bold on "bright". Also, please let me know the name of the font.

If you have any questions please feel free to call me directly at 617-510-3438
I hope these tweaks wont be too much work for you. I greatly appreciate your efforts.

Hi Glendon, the darker orange works much better. It now looks more 3D with the change. I think we are in good shape with the mark. I think that I like the all lower case font best. One option that I did not request, that in retrospect should have, was all bold, could we try that. given that the name is in two colors it seems I am thinking I may not want to change the font weight too.

Thanks for all of your work. We are very close.

Thanks again,
Jim

Hi Glendon,

thanks for the latest version. I am thinking that 168 works better than 169 as the all bold seems a bight heavy. I would like your opinion on this which option do you prefer?
