Erik, Impressive work for sure. I am wondering if this design could have a 'one color' capability as well as a 'two color' capability? Or would the shadowing & half tones need more than a one or two color option? I hope I'm making sense - as sometimes I seem to think because I know what I'm saying others should as well... Thanks! Yea, I think this could work in one color, or 'flat' as we call it in the industry. The two colors and the shading help with the effect a bit, but the overall shape of the elements will lend to the effect too. I'll put something together to demo that.
I'm not really sure it still looks good in one color. And I hate that too - especially since I really wanted to be able to have a one color option! I'm very glad you showed me the design in one color but sad for you if that means that you go down in the ranking! One color it reminds me more of a library book or such?
