Hi, here is my initial entry for your consideration. The shape is a simplified, geometric representation of b and a, merged into one. It also somewhat resembles an eye, which has meaning for the company with respect to ideas (the mind's eye) and generally the idea that an attorney watches out for a client's interests.
This nice and weird. Two years ago I hired someone locally to design something and this EXACT form emerged then. I rejected it because he had two of them together a the points and it ended up looking like hand cuffs! My favorite client who is a top feng shei expert pointed it out and then I could not get over it.
In this case, I now see the b and a. I know I've seen this done before. Would it look too obvious if you did just a "hair" longer on the stem of the "b" or would it ruin the concept. I want a STRONG icon that will over time be recognizable across web and mobile platforms.
FYI, I'm now leaning towards either all lower case or only initial upper case with two colors one for Brand, another for aide
This is great. I'm loving the logo and believe me it's the first one! Could you do one with all lower case and one with only the initial letter upper. I'd love a font that is unique, sans serif with some rounded edges.
104 is nice as the design and lettering are nicely balanced and they go well together. . My only issue is to try a bit different color combo. I"m not LOVING the red and gold but I do want a strong look and this does do that.
Could you provide a couple of other color choices? I really like this design and am trying to narrow down to the final choices.
Please remember that in certain settings BRANDAIDE and HODGSON LAW will be shown together. In fact, each icon will be a link from one to the other.
We could try the coral color on my site cherylhodgson.com, or even a red that is a bit more like the one. The main thing is that the colors COMPLEMENT so there is some connection from one to the other, though subtle.
