I have tried it , and I found this concept .
"R" can't be inside 'D " because the space is very narrow.
I marked them with color
B : In white letters with a blue outline
D : In blue
R : In blue
What do you think ?

I have a crazy idea... can I see just initials, make the B bigger and the D inside the B and then an R inside the D? I might be wrong, but if you don't mind trying, I would appreciate it.

I like the old B, how it was open on the bottom left corner. Can you use the old B, maybe round the edges a little and just make a simple, open shape that replaces the "gear" shape? (Does that make sense?)
