I like the pink. Not for the primary logo, but during Breast Cancer awareness month, or when we are doing special events around breast cancer, it could be used.
What would you suggest if I was printing on an amber color glass growler, and could only use one ink color. So the amber glass and one additional color.
Also -- feel free to mark any as "not interested" if you want to clear out entries. We designers are not offended by that. So, if there are alternate versions that you don't prefer, just slide them over to the not interested column and we will withdraw them.
#17 & #18. Don't like the female symbol. Even though we are all females that own the business we are not looking to use it. Men are still the biggest target market. Prefer to think of a beautiful, sexy bombshell.
#65 We are putting all the logo's through 2 questions and if they pass, then they are in the running.
We are putting all logos through 2 questions. 1. Does it look good in one color ink - #65 passes 2. Can we use the logo on the sign out front of the building. - we are worried about the girl with beer mug and the town might say no.
We know we can use the logo on every other aspect of our business as it is age restricted. Wondering if we had one variation of it that we could use only on our sign out front, but could still use #65 as is on everything else. Keeping the brand element consistent. Do you have any ideas for either removing the girl or using just a head shot, or maybe not the girl at all and using some other design element like Hops, Grain, or what ever your creative mind comes up with.
Okay -- let's try these for sign options: #116 - #117 - #118 (The one thing I'm finding out is that, as a logo/brand, it's very flexible with lots of options. That's a good thing.) If you'd like to see more, please just ask! t h a n k s
Wondering if you have any feedback or new direction to help my efforts. Do you want me to pursue a specific look instead of an icon? Certain hair color, etc.? Trying to create a classic logo that won't become dated too quickly. t h a n k s
you are in our top 2. You have provided the classic look without being too sexual. Which is what we want. There is an audience for that. We now have to determine based on current drinker and future beer drinker which will they be able to identify with. If we ask anyone over the age of 35, it is the classic look. And people over 35 can afford our beer.
Our only concern is the signage on the building and will the town approve it. We hadn't actually thought about it until this morning when a friend who is on the town council said we have to submit signage to the city for approval.
So if there is a way to incorporate branding elements of your first design which is what we would actually use as our logo, and provide a "Modified" version for our signage, then that is what we will do.
#116 is the most viable signage version. We would still use #65 as our logo.
#124 -- Could it be this simple? I think maybe so! No beer. No real change to the brand element. Just a red one-piece and...ta-da! (If this is still too much for approval from the city, please advise. Trying to gauge what we can do and still be tasteful/appropriate.) t h a n k s
Great! If there's anything I else I can do to give you the logo you want, please let me know. More than willing to try options, explore, etc. Many thanks, ~Geoff (A-ha)
after asking many friends on comments, they like the girl, like the background design, the only part that has been less desirable is the breaking up of the name bombshell into two lines. Not sure how you make it all in one line and keep the elements. Your logo's have been the most selected by our friends. That being the only negative feedback.
No worries. I'll work on getting into one line. Entries to come soon. Thanks for the feedback. Really enjoying this contest and trying to deliver for you! ~Geoff
A few variations... #160 - Arched lettering behind the girl #161 - Larger lettering with the girl's arm reaching behind letters #162 - The larger lettering with the girl's arm in front #163 - A stylized hyphen
165 any reason why you spelled out company? Was it because of moving girl and trying to balance design? Don't like the bottom banner as much as previously. It's a little harder to read with the wrapping around.
The single most important element for us is a font that is readable from a distance. Don't want letters to get too tight and make it hard to make out what it is. At least until we build brand recognition like bud light :-)
Ha! Yes! : ) Brand recognition. Like the way you think! Let me deal with 'company' and the bottom banner some. It was for balance, but I've got a few other tricks up my sleeve...
I like the gray scale one. It's really sharp. I can only use one ink color though. For instance on a kookier or a growler.
If u go to www.egrandstand.com there is a growler in one of the rotating pictures. It's not that we can't do more colors but the price just goes way up and will put them at a price point that we won't be able to sell at or if we do, the margin will be pennies.
Agreed! I'm on the east coast. Worked as late as I could last night. Up and back at it today. Have a quick meeting this morning then I'll be back on in just a bit. Thanks! ~Geoff
