Great job on #22! #26,#27 looks like the yellow circle with the blue ring is an extension of the mouth and detracts from the dragon. Really, that's my concern with all the others except #22. I like what you are trying to do, but only #22 hits it right on for me. Way to raise the bar!
I'd like to see your character encompassed by something. The best way to describe would be to take #29, expand the ring to circle the entire character, with a version that maybe has the orange color as the entire background of the circled emblem.
You are definitely one of our favorites. #36 does a great job highlighting the name Blue Dragon, but could it be done without covering the ears of the Dragon and still look good? #34 and #35 do this well, but the name Blue Dragon doesn't stand out. I'm just trying to give as much input as possible.
Using #45 as our starting point, I'd like to see this version of your logo:
Remove the background square Change the Banner that says Blue Dragon and put it back in side the blue ring. Expand the blue ring to allow larger font for Blue Dragon and to give more inside space for dragon head Add the 3 stars in the blue ring like you used in #46
Slight changes. Can you create the background that is lighter in the middle than the outside? Also, what other outside edge boarders do you suggest for the square section? Let's change the banner to Red on entry #58 and have the other colors match accordingly (square and circle), even if it goes best with no circle color, red banner, blue ring/dragon.
Entry #70, invert the colors, so Red is Fireworks and Blue is Blue Dragon.
Entry #73, change the blue ring to red and the red banner to blue. It would make more sense to have the banner saying Blue Dragon be blue. Also, in this color combo, lets change the square to red as well, or try one of each.
I really like the iconic nature of your dragon head, I'm just not sure the best format for the surrounding segments of the logo or color choice. You have done a great job in translating what I have asked to a finished product, its just hard to choose our final rendition.
Is there any other direction you could recommend for #22. I really like it, but for a logo on our products it needs to be captured by a border of some sort. #75 is or favorite from what you have created, but I just wanted to see if you had any other thoughts about it. As a fireworks company we will be labeling products with our logo, as well as creating huge signs for our retail locations, so the logo needs to look good in both applications.
