This is the second business partner chiming in; #2 I really like the arrows underneath the word Blackthorne. Is it possible for a visual representation of the blackthorne berry to be incorporated? And could that be a more asymmetrical addition. The ratio of text is good
Hi, I'm not sure how well the blackthorne berry branch will show up on the shield- I'll keep working on a clearer, simpler design, maybe with a medieval style font for the B...
The second business partner commenting again; I would like to see a design without a "shield". Could you substitute the blackthorn berry branch where the arrow is between the words Blackthorne /&/ Publick House? That might be a way to incorporate the asymmetrical design element I mentioned.
Thank you. As you might have guessed we are searching for a font that will grab us. It does need to be easy to read but we have also considered a more classic english style even though that is not grabbing our attention either.
I think my number 1 and 2 rank are very strong logos, identifiable, clear and clean. 4 and 5 are more 'English Tavern' font, but maybe too traditional? Not sure.
After consultation, we still like #1. Some feedback- can you make the branch a bit lighter, maybe more gold than yellow, more muted. Also, overemphasize the thorns on the branches, as opposed to the berries. Not sure how it would look for the Blackthorne to be in that yellow color...
Yeah, I guess if your emphasis is more on the updated, contemporary environment of the pub (rather than historic), an Old English style font probably wouldn't convey that...should I try a couple other fonts?
I really like 116. I think my partner is not crazy about the thorns or the font. I like this font. Can we work on the thorns/berry logo a bit? I think that is keeping this logo as #2 as opposed to #1.
