I like the sheep you designed. It will work great as a stand alone logo on hats and apparel when I use it without the writing. If you could incorperate one timber framing item into the design in a subtle way you would be right on the mark. I had one competitor who had a design I really liked look at adding a framing chisel. Framing chisels are the main tool of our trade. They are long and linear. You can google framing chisel and a bunch of images will come up. Maybe one can be worked in as a linear break between Black Sheep and Post and Beam LLC. I wouldn't want anything in the design changed above Black Sheep
thanks, Jason
PS #41 is a great design as well, but for this application I just want the sheep to stand alone
Thank you so much for your feedback. I see that the first ranked designer is also using the chisel as a line break and I would need to know if that was your suggestion to her, otherwise I would not be able to incorporate it into my design as the rules of LT are very strict on protecting any ideas designers bring into the contest. I apologize for any inconvenience and hopefully you are able to understand :)
Thank you so much Jason. I appreciate you letting me know. I have uploaded two variations with the chisel #46, #47 for your review. Please let me know if you would like to see anything else.
I like the two chisel idea.....the single curved chisel is.....i can put a finger on it, understand the curve is a little artist license....what if it were straight over the post and beam, keep the black sheep curved and ad some design in the space created perhaps.
I love the design, the two chisels with the nail inbetween is awsome.
The font is ok, but to make it even better could you try coming with a font that has an older feel other than Times....timber framing is a style of building with origins of when we settled this country. Colonial times
Did you want something more old english in feel? I researched colonial fonts and this one was listed, but if it looks too modern, I will work on something else :)
