I'd like to add that "BIT" is an acronyom for "Belmonte Information Technology".

I specialize in "64 Bit" operating systems from Microsoft.

A "byte" is a sequence of "bits". In computer networking, some network protocols send and receive data in the form of "byte" sequences.
