Sure. I can do that right now. I'm really glad you get this concept. It was kind of a hit with some other designers the night I entered your contest. That's how the term eggcage was coined.
I've done a personal manufacturing project myself (mp3 players) where I needed to adapt product packaging for specific reasons and I also opted for one standardized package (produced in China), complimented with a sticker to indicate model information. It's a really smart idea and if executed properly can have tremendous marketing potential. Plus it can save you tons of money.
I designed this logo with that in mind. Not only do you get all sorts of clever and ingenuity with a great logo, but the added functionality of color changes at will is just so smart on so many levels.
#161 and #174 are the same egg, just different colors. I uploaded the larger version with the tagline simply in order to catch your eye.
So I'll submit some changes based on your feedback above. Remember the color can be ANYTHING, so my variations will show color, but I guess the real purpose of them is to show you some different type styles. Feel free to comment back if you want to mix-n-match parts of my entries.
This type is even more playful, AND... the negative space in the letters is made up of eggs. If you like a bit of playful in type I think this is cool.
here's a version with the more standard type which you seem to prefer, with a thinker font weight. Remember also that the colors can be varied to anything you choose, either now or later when you go to printing.
I'm sorry we lost you right at the end of the contest,. I guess it was the holiday weekend. I hope I put in some type that put me over the top in this contest.
I think my design is on top here... a bird is just too literal. Based on the name most of the ranked entries are just too obvious... with my design you get clever, plus a great money saving product labeling vehicle.
