Thanks for submitting your designs. We really like the Y you've created and these designs are a great starting point. #15 is our favorite.
First of all, we think that the colors need to be a little stronger so that they show up against the white background more. Also, we've enjoyed the way some of the other designers have used two distinct colors for the two different words - could you try that for us?
Finally, we'd like to see another font or two. The font you've selected is nice - it's sleek but possibly too cosmopolitan for us. We'd prefer somehting a little more flowing and less modern.
Hi Jeff, We really like the change you made, and put it into first place. The design is right on. Could you check our site www.binghamtonyoga.com and make any adjustments to color that you thought would make it cohesive with our colors. Thanks, BYoga
#34 is a nice update - the colors seem very good. Here are a few other things to try:
Could you add a subtle golden drop-shadow to #34? We're hoping this gives a little bit of the fading look that we liked in #29 but not so much of it.
Could you also try adding some sort of graceful little "swoosh" that runs from under the Binghamton, fades out under the Y and reappears under Yoga? I'm not sure if this will add or distract but it would be nice to just take a look at it.
Competition is getting stiff and I want to keep making your better to keep it at the top.
A few toughts about #71...
(1) Could you make the g in Yoga long enough to have the swoosh go through the center of the loop?
(2) Try adding a second smaller swoosh under the existing one. I picture it starting near the gh in Binghamton and ending under the g in yoga. It would reduce the amount of the Y that hangs lonely under the swoosh.
