Here is a few variations, one with the P and paw enlarged, another with a giant paw. If you'd like to see the shape of the paw in your picture please let me know and I'll try and incorporate that :)
Combine 1st and 2nd. I love the big brown paw, but the name is better combined like the 2nd ranking. Also make the "b" big in BigPawz. I also like the two different colors in the name.
Like #11 ? The b is enlarged, the text is lined up like the 2nd, and the paw is there, along with the two different colors for the text. I can make any other changes you'd like, too :)
Can you show me one more version? If so, take the paw print from the middle of the P and place it behind the B. Almost like a mirror image of the one behind the z in Pawz.
I think, for a full color, full graphic logo, #15 would be best. And for times when you have limited room, or dont want too many graphics, or only want to use one color, just the text with the paw print in the P would be good. Its still the same design, and would still be recognizable both ways as your logo. the text-only version would obviously just be used for things that have very limited space.
I think you're right. It's balanced, catchy, easy to stitch, easy to apply to letterhead. It also represents our product.
I showed my wife for which the product was created. If you have been to the website, you will see a brindle great dane in the banner. That is Fred. He is the reason this product exists. We lost him a few years ago and miss him tons. My wife wondered if he could be included somehow. I know I keep asking for revisions and am willing to pay more for your work. I really like it and all the others suck compared to your work! Let me know what you think.
I completely understand about Fred. I have had dogs all my life, my mother bred german shepherds when I was a child, and as an adult I have adopted several dogs myself. I have a small dog now called Shorty, hes the center of my world :) If I'm to include Fred in the logo, it would have to be an illustration of him. A line drawing. This is because a regular picture cant be resized like a vector image can be. Because of the details, it will take me a day or 2, to get it right and get all the details. If you have other images of Fred you can upload them to the upload area, and not just I, but other designers too, can try and capture him in vector :)
I've been completely swamped today by thanksgiving preparations, I have some last minute guests coming so I had to re-arrange things. I'll be very busy tomorrow morning and afternoon, but I have an outline ready and will complete the line drawing tomorrow night and have it uploaded by tomorrow night. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.
This is a simplified drawing. Details are lost when sized down, I can add details, like shading etc, but it would look chaotic at small sizes or from a distance.
Hello Illumina! I hope you had a great thanksgiving! I think the drawing is a little too much. I dont know where we could fit it in and have it look right. I do want to thank you thought for taking the time to do it. Your work is by far my favorite. I will be awarding you the prize.
I think we may still be missing something though and I cant put my finger on it. Maybe a little dimension? Maybe some outline to the logo? I cant pin it down. What do you think?
#55 and #56 have some outline and depth to them, I increased the outline around the text too, so it wouldnt get lost/hard to read within the paw prints :)
Hi, I've been busy this morning, only just saw this. I'll have the changes up in a bit, I'm sorry for my slow response. Its fine to ask for changes, its not a problem :)
Ok.... a few more, hopefully easy, changes. Can the paws look more like our product? Also, I like some of the silver and bronze colored logos. They represent the different colored castings we can currently make. I dont know if its proper to ask for changes like that because some of the other designers have used them, but I dont think is a design element, is a product element. Let me know what you think.
I am assuming you have used a Photoshop product to design these. If so, are all the different parts to this logo in layers? I have a problem with leaving things alone, I always have to screw with it. Its a sickness i have, im sure :). I like the last revision you did the best, but haven't seen any color variations from you yet. I'm sure you're off winning other contests I hope!
Hi Jeff, I used adobe illustrator to design this. It comes in EPS format, with all layers intact, so you could play with it to your hearts content :) I would save a backup before doing that if you have little experience with illustrator, just in case! Would you like to see some other colors? Are there any particular colors you especially like?
I assumed you'd prefer a black background as the website has a black background, so here it is in bronze and silver (more of the "fun" kind of coloring) on a black background :)
Here it is in a couple of different shades, in flat color. The gradient one could be used for web and some print, while the flat for embroidery and other print :)
