My entry for your consideration. I decided to go a different route than the other designs. Since you will be in a "Mall" shopping environment, you will be competing with lots of logos. I choose to go with Big, Bold and to the point. The font style screams "Big" slices of pizza in a fun and inviting environment. The abstract pizza slice is also focused on the "Big" of Biggie's to reinforce that idea of large slices of pizza.
The design will work easily with signage, since no gradients are used in the colors. The logo will embroider well for employee uniforms and aprons. Also, the cost to reproduce will be less since the design can be printed in spot colors.
