I'm not sure about this direction - i think some might feel it is too close to a heritage that some are trying to forget here. Please see my notes on the colors - i have no specific color in mind but i couldn't seem to pass that step without filling in something.

My concept is to make it minimalist,serious, educated, simple yet long lasting and also easily remembered. My reference is from WWF logo: a silhouette of panda with strong message known worldwidely. Also it will be better if you rank entries.

Been thinking, since I live in Asia I have just realized what you mean by" heritage that people want to forget" and "too close to the edge". As logo designer I have backed up my self with history lesson as well, but your feedback really bring enlightenment to me today :-).
I tried blue color in my new entry as this color symbolizing education and modify the man by adding silhouette of collar/cloth. ( I noticed the previous man looks topless)
I am new here and my status is still probationary, which means that Logo Tournament admin will check my entry manually before putting it to the main page where you could see it. So perhaps it took time before you can see my entries I have just upload minutes ago.
