Thank you for your entries. We are seriously considering them, and only wish we could have gotten together earlier in the contest to develop ideas. We really like #136 and #133.
Hello I can still submitt entries and we can work on them during judging mode if you rank me first so I can submit revisions. After you are satisfied with the result you can re-rank as you wish. Thanks for considering my designs.
Thanks Alex. We really like what you've done, and if you are willing to put some work into it, we would like to see some revisions....
The 2 styles we like the most are #133 and #136. I've categorized my feedback below:
Symbol - >> We really like how the symbol sits at an angle and is 3 dimensional. If you could make it slightly more angled, we would like to see that. We also like the reflection of the symbol, and would like to see the reflection a slightly more noticeable. >> We also like the symbol 2-tone with the green/gray as it implies "integration." And we like it to have a little more "shine" to it. >> Can we see the symbol slightly larger?
Font - >> We like both fonts... we are going for clean and modern. Can you switch the fonts around and use the font on #133 on #136 and visa versa?
Color - >> We like the gray used for "net" and "solutions" but was wondering how the "beyond" would look in a little darker green? We are actually open to the green that you used, but all of our other materials are using a darker green.
Ideas - >> We are open to any more ideas that you may have. We looked at your portfolio and your work is awesome!
thanks for your willingness to work with us. I look forward to your designs.
I'll have all revisions up for you today. I was kinda busy in the past day but I'm free now and will get this done today. Thanks for your patience. Alex
Hi Jonathan I had to withdraw my designs because it seems they were similar with another belonging to a fellow designer. I will be posting a slightly modified concept soon keeping in mind your previous directions. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.
Just wanted to make sure you got my email reply.... I think it may be early in the morning in Romania with the time difference. At any rate, let me know you got it, or I will resend.
Like #217/#224. Have you tried putting the arrow on the left, gray side pointing upward? Also, what we really liked on the original design was that the symbol was "rotated." If you can do that, we're good.
If you have time to work on this today, we want to select a winner and get moving! If not, I understand.
Well tbh I've worked on the original design so it is still rotated to the same degree..the arrow might be messing it up. I'll make the arrow from a deeper perspective and post it shortly Alex
OK, sorry. I guess it's just an illusion that it is not as rotated. My only thoughts with the arrow going UP would be an indication of moving forward.... we'll see how it looks.
As a designer, what do you think of the symbol with the arrow included??
here a different arrow concept, pointing upward, adjusts well into the perspective view and the overall ensemble looks better I think. I'll give you some color variations on this
I hope it's not a big inconvenience but I will have to be away from my desk a while. If you have anything else you want to see leave me a message and I'll get it done a.s.a.p
You can close the contest at any time even if I'm gone. LT allows me to send any variation of a certain concept. For example you can have the 1st ranked together with the second ranked
Congrats! We have decided on Entry #229. (Do you like this one? We thought the green arrow really 'popped!' )
Staff comments below, if you don't mind making a few final tweaks:
1. Would like the symbol to be slightly more rotated / 3d 2. Slightly make the reflection more noticeable 3. Define the gray elements slightly more with darker points, and slightly more shine.
Everything else is perfect. Hope you don't mind making the final changes. It's 9:15 pm here, I'll check a little later.
#234 is my favorite as far as the mark goes. It has the best shine and good contrast. However the font doesn't quite match the weight of the mark. I think you need a stronger font, and simpler at the same time.
I would recommend a bit bolder sans serif font. And something that is not so futuristic. It will be easier for clients to read your name without giving them a headache. I'll uploading something right away.
