Very creative design

I just noticed something counter-intuitive on this. Should hte "up" story be larger than the other story? I've made a rough sample, and don't know if the colors should be opposite (with orange on the right), adn also thought about replacing black with the other color...I'd be interested in seeing a few with other colors as well (e.g. Blue/Yellow, Blue/Green) - whatever you think looks good.

I like thse, but my friends dont' think the 1 is clear enough. Any ideas on making it jump out more?

Sure! I'll give you more revised designs. But for information, only first ranking can submit at judging time.
