All the final files are ready to sent, could you please let me know your email address ? I will send them directly to you because LT application only able to submit eps and jpg file format
Here are my requests. I need four versions. One as presented as #133, one without the slogan, and one with just the icon. Additionally I need one logo without the slogan in white only and its opacity set at 25% ( to be used as a image watermark).
Also I need the hexadecimal, rgba, and cmyk values for the different colors.
I need .eps and .pdf files. Jpegs are not necessary.
And finally I may want to use one or both of the fonts for html header tags on our future website. I also might use these fonts in print as well. Let me know their names and if they're premium fonts where I can purchase them.
This is my favorite. I'll talk to my partner tomorrow. But as far as I'm concerned this is it. One thing we will want is the entire logo of course, but also a version with just the icon. We'll talk to you soon.
I like it. My partner and I are probably going to select you but I won't be able to talk to her again until tomorrow afternoon. In the mean time could you send me a couple of more versions with Among in slightly darker shades of grey. Thanks
I cannot tell in this low of resolution file, but I think I'd like to see Among in a more grey color. Perhaps the same grey that you're using in the right half of the icon.
Also we may want a color version as well featuring two colors, one for each half of the icon. But I'll get back with you on that.
I like how you minimized the tracking in the first Beauty verses version 128. I'm a little bothered with "Among". It seems to jump out visually too much and I'm not sure if it's because of the font, font size or font weight. The letter "O" really stands out. I think a lighter font weight would do a better job of separating it from the two Beautys. Also perhaps a different font with a more narrow "O" possibly?
As a follow up to my previous request, I think what she liked about version 81 is its center-justified symmetry. But as I communicated to you a few days ago I prefer equal treatment of the two Beauty's. So her and I have different preferences in that regard which is why I'm trying to find a compromise.
I've finally received feedback from my partner and she would like to see a revision of #81. Specifically the font you used for "Among" she would like to be used on both "Beautys". And the font you used on the first Beauty she would like to see it used on "Among". And she would like all three words to be the same font size as the second line, "Among Beauty". She still wants the first "Beauty" to be centered and alone on the top line but we realize the icon may get in the way of this. With version 81 you dealt with this by increasing the tracking but we'd like to see less tracking so that the two different "Beautys" are more equal in appearance.
Yes this design is more what I had in mind. I would however like to get back to a lighter font weight for the 2 Beautys. Closer to the weight used on the 2nd Beauty of #81. A heavy weight such this latest submission seems to loud whereas a lighter weight seems more elegant or refined which is to my liking.
Also I failed to mention that I like the font choices of submission #81. Not specifically with the words you used them with, but just in general terms I found them to be appropriate to our message.
I'm still waiting to hear from my partner but I'll give you some feedback from at least my point of view. I liked your first four revisions best, #81-84 because they maintained the icon in its original portrait orientation. Both our interpretations were the letter “b” and “a” joined together to form and eye. We also liked the sense of opposing connectivity…two opposite needs drawn together much in the same way as an artist and his muse. Of course this may or may not have been your intent, but that’s the beauty of interpretive art.
The changes to the layout and the font are improvements but with the word “Among” as a preposition in the title I would like it to have at least slightly less emphasis with its visual presentation. Also because I feel the concepts of Beauty Among Beauty represent two equal types of beauty I would like to see those two words (Beauty, Beauty) to be equal in size and emphasis. Hopefully this is making sense. So with that said, I like the font you chose for 81, 83, and 84…I just didn’t like the emphasis issues. I would like to see Beauty and Beauty to be in equal in size and font selection, and perhaps Among to be slightly smaller and/or different font. Also my preference is to see the icon in the middle as you presented in 81 and 82, and while you did this in 84, I felt integrating it into the letter “o” distanced itself from the original interpretation from my partner and I. Hopefully my partner sees these issues similarly, I suspect she will for the most part.
Ok, there's a lot to consider here. It's just after midnight my time, and I won't have a chance to talk to my partner until tomorrow. But yes, I think you're on the right track.
Thanks for your great feedback, really glad you liked the icon, i used that (stacked lettering) just to make sure the name easily readable at first glance.
I have come up with some lettering ideas, i hope i on the right track. Feel free to ask if you need more revisions
I love this pictorial on many levels. It's clever, elegant, and relevant to the concept of artist and muse...yet without being obvious. It could be my favorite among all the submissions. Well done! That said, my partner and I aren't crazy about the font for Beauty Among Beauty, the lines between the words, or the block (square) presentation of the three words together. My preference is to see Beauty Among Beauty on a single line, though I realize it might not work with this pictorial. Many submissions have placed their pictorial above and centered over Beauty Among Beauty. Again, I'm not suggesting that would be a better alternative...just a possibility worth exploring. Another design feature we've both like is two different fonts for Beauty and Among. Perhaps a contemporary font for Beauty and a script or hand drawn font for Among? A few designers have used fonts that convey a sense of artistic strokes of a brush. Overall what I'm trying to say is the pictorial is brilliant, while the name seems a creative afterthought. I'm excited to see how you could revise this.
