What will tie this concept together is the fonts. The way it stands, the font in BEATSTREET has nothing in common with the B stamp. Not sure if the B stamp should resemble the B in BEATSTREET or vice-versa

Love this layout- let's see some options for fonts. BEATSTREET needs to be all Caps. Again, the matching B's are there (which is cool), but would like to see some alternate fonts.

Could Suppose right-most vertical line was the start of "B"? Then B could be upright (and look more like a B). This would also give us the option of using the meter bars and only "B" as an abbreviated logo.

Kinda Cool! 1st impression-
I like the idea of integrating the B with the waveform/skyline graphic, but the B looks too wavy and doesn't reflect the B in BEATSTREET.

We've decided that spray paint is not working at all. Sorry for misleading you but although it sounded like a cool NYC idea, it took away from the modern vibe we'd like to project. If you'd like to continue, some kind of B logo would be great.
