Awesome Frank! Thanks again for the great communication throughout the project. That was so helpful. Who knew an old photo I took a few years back would end up being the sky for your brand? That is my favorite part! It makes the design truly one of a kind, and completely authentic to the region.
It does take a little time to put all the file formats together so i will get those to you tomorrow.
I will also email you the horizontal file.
I have a great affordable starter package for new clients too. I will forward a price list to you for you to keep should you need it.
Thanks again, and I will get those files over to you tomorrow.

Hey Paul- CONGRATULATIONS! We have a winner!!!! Would you send me the horizontal version of this image too, please: frankfiumejr@gmail.com? It was a pleasure working with you. I was rooting for you the whole time! Please send me your contact info in case I have additional work in the future. Thanks again! - Frank
I moved the wordmark down a bit. It does not overlap the icon in this one. Maybe it looks a bit cleaner this way? Probably a matter of preference, but at least it gives another option.
So I can only upload one file selected in the Logo Tournament system, but yes the horizontal version of the logo is the same design, so I can just forward you that one as well. It is included since it is the same design.
I will see if I can grab a minute this afternoon and update the design, but if not I will definitely do it later on tonight.
So I think this one is real close. The one tweak that stands out to me is that the water near the beach should look more clear and should transition to teal (not so blue). Also let’s make the sand a bit more beige/white. But the I think the question of dune vs flat has been resolved. Flat looks better especially with the chair shadows. I think we’re all good after that. If we pick this as the winner, would you also include the horizontal version? Thanks in advance Paul! Love your work and appreciate all your commitment to our design! - Frank
Ok. I will be on a similar schedule tomorrow. Out of the office most of the day...but I will be able to make a few tweeks if needed, but I will be back in tomorrow night and have more time then. So feel free to forward any feesback and I will jump on asap.
Looks great. It’s down to the wire. Flat/less sand vs Dune/more sand. Hmmm...want this image to look as inviting to potential guests. Going to sleep on it. Any thoughts or tweaks, feel free. Thanks Paul.
I think the effect is a bit off. The sand is white. (Extending to the bottom arch). The gray is just the wet sand. It gets a little lost though, so I will adjust it.
I think it needs a little bit more sand and adjust the color to more beige/white. Love the shadows of the chair. Shouldn’t the sand extend down towards the bottom a bit more too following the arch of the border like the top?
LOL. I agree. Just having fun. I dont know if you were around when the disaster happened in 1980, (I was 8 years old) but that bridge was so dark and cold afterwards. As a kid I always loved the "new" bridge lit up. It was such a contrast to the old.
I just threw it out there for fun. Totally agree it is better as a simple silhouette.
I went a little more realistic here. The sand is likely pretty flat and white on that side of Anna Maria. The gray is wet sand, and the shadow is added under the chairs. It makes the image a bit more clean when the "dunes" are removed.
Ha, ha!!! Nice. Okay, better without the lights so we don’t emphasize the bridge. Thinking we need to make the sand more beige / white. It looks a little too grey.
OK...so this one is kinda cool. The sky is from an actual photo I took in Sarasota (on Siesta Key) a few years back. So we know the sky color is right.
I digitized the photo so now it can be used in a logo file with no issues.
Traveling a bit today, but will get the palette updates this evening. Thanks again for the good feedback. This process is a bit cumbersome compared to in house face to face work, so good feedback is key, even with 175+ winning projects here over 10 years, I still struggle with no feedback...lol, So thanks again for keeping the communication flow open!
Stay tuned. I will get the updates to you this evening/tonight.
Hi Paul- I appreciate all the new designs, but I think we're closer than you think with #123. We love everything about the design--except the sky. It just feels a bit heavy. If you could give us new variations of sky, I think that's all it needs. I'm not opposed to sunrise, maybe just not so pink. As many different options of sky palette would be great. Not exactly sure what I'm looking for, I just know this isn't it....but we're real close! Thanks again. - Frank
Hi Frank. Here is a cleaner version with a better palette. I agree about the sunrise colors after some thought. Its quite busy. This is a softer way to make the same point.
I like what you're trying to do here, but there's something much more inviting about #123. Maybe it's the image of the house. I doesn't do anything for me. I think this logo needs to feel relaxing on your very own private beachfront overlooking the teal water and skyway bridge in the distance. The house image seems to take over.
Alternatively, a luxury abstract design is another totally different direction. Just throwing that out there.
I think it's the pink that holding me back. Maybe the sky needs to be more like what you just submitted...Blue sky--sunny. Keep it upscale/luxury. I'm rooting for you to win this! :)
A fairly literal depiction of the house with the color palette that you mentioned. This shows exactly what you offer, while still giving a relaxed feel that invites people to come and unwind.
My overall general suggestion is that we’re looking for a logo to make this house a luxury brand to attract affluent families. The logo should reflect an upscale experience. From a color perspective we like using teal/blues, sand/beige, white, etc. we like what you’ve done. Think maybe more of an upscale/luxury feel will help. Thank you for asking.
I feel like dressing up the typography helps make it a little bit more formal and adds a touch of luxury, while keeping it casual and inviting to the prospective guest.
Nah...I think we're on a better track with #123 image. Do you have any ideas how we can make #123 look a bit more like this is a luxury, upscale vacation home experience. I want the guest to feel that from the brand logo.
By the way, I have another logo contest in the blind phase for my podcast/workshop called EXIT ACADEMY. I like your work so please feel free to submit your ideas for this logo too. Thanks.
Can we see a version with the text at the bottom (like #95) and a version without a weathered finish. Also on both versions let’s make it a little more sunrise—it’s a little too blood orange. I want the image to be cheerie. Looking good Paul!
Hmmm....now I see why you didn’t write out the words Florida in your original design. Looks so much cleaner and centered without it. Let me see it with the words Florida—let’s see if you can make it work.
Hey Paul! Really nice work here! Couple of suggestions (1) have the chair facing the water and (2) make the chair smaller—it’s too big. You might have to adjust the size of the bridge and/or the words Beachfront Bliss. We want to make sure the bridge looks like it’s off in the distance and the chair is closer up, but not too big. Don’t want it taking over the logo. Otherwise, we’re on to something here!

I actually have multiple Real Estate clients in the area.
(Jason Maniecki and Andrew and Angela Duncan are among my Real Estate clients in Tampa.)
I tried to create a mood here. Sitting on the edge of the bay looking east from Anna Maria back towards the bay and a sunrise through the Skyway.
Please don't hesitate if you'd like me to develop this concept further.

Paul
