Thanks for inquiring Alex.
It is a historic building that used to be a store. Now it is a restaurant only and has been serving the community for over 100 years. We will be serving comfort food with lamb, beef and salmon served on the island. The island is small, about 800 in the off season and 1500 in the summer. There is no gas station and no traffic lights. Access to the island is only by a 20 car passenger ferry named the "Whatcom Chief". Income levels vary greatly but about 80% working class poor/middle class with about 20% wealthy retirees or old-money islanders.
