Thanks for all your comments. You probably already know that the ones addressed to me should rather go to this section - unlike general comments to all designers which are also very effective to use by you because can be seen by all. I will think to use some anatomy/human features in th design but I always try to avoid cliche representations of "swoosh" people.
Don't be disappointed with the number of designers in your contest. Most of them will come in the last day/hours.
You are first Polish client I meet here. I live in Cracow. And I still have this dream about moving to Australia with all my family someday - after my father dies. I know it's hard but it's kind of different hardship.
Ok, great. Thanks. Yeah, I'm bit disappointed as my friend got plenty of designs pretty quick. Fair enough with the "swoosh" people but something to do with movement/exercise/health etc. would be nice. Yeah, I moved to Australia 5 years ago and am loving it. Although, I get home sick quite often as my family is overseas and I'm here with my husband, so we try and visit them once a year. How long have you been on this website? It's an excellent idea, I think.
I understand your disappointment. We designers are just like the other people - prefer to follow the beaten track. Easy to understand, simple, well now ideas gather much more than contest with something new, untypical or hard to pinpoint. On the other side - contests that gather most designers tend to have very similar entries which follow the leader, first ranking design.
Good news is that staff here is known for their integrity and they really refund contests with not enough number of entries (they do this quite frequently).
I use this website for almost a year now and have to confess it can be really good source of income - at least for Polish standards. But there are Australian or US designers working here as well.
As for the design itself, if you want it to be put on black background it almost always has to have its colors slightly altered so there can't be usually universal logo good for all backgrounds
It looks great. It's something that I wanted. So, you are saying that the coulour needs to be bit different if the logo is going onto the black background/shirt? Mostly, I'm going to use on my stationary etc. So, what' s the difference in colours. Can you show me the colours for the black shirt? Thanks
The black background looks great. We like it. This is great for our shirts. How would it look on white paper for stationary, writing letters with logo on the top of paper etc?Would it print on paper nice or do we need the white background for that purpose only. Thanks
We work here in full RGB color scheme while most of the printing goes in CMYK which offers narrower palette due to chemistry of the printing process itself. Although I prepared many posters and banners for print shops I never was sure 100% what the outcome will be. If you want to switch to printable CMYK palette it will look less vivid on computer screen. Here is a site which uses strictly CMYK for displaying logos: https://stocklogos.com/logos/recent As you can see they look more "paper like" but much closer to what clients will get on print However, they "on screen" impact is limited.
Print shop has the last word and I can only add that we can also provide here black and white version if requested and it can be useful with some kinds of documents like fax.
Sometimes it's good to know how black and whitte version look like - be it for fax, embroidery or seal etc. You can also exchange black with say green T-shirt and you have very cheap one color print.
