Bad news ...I've moved both of these out because even though you and I understand the metamorphis symbolism because that's what we were going for ... fresh eyes (more than one) said the symbol makes them think of the Atomic Energy Commission! OMG, I can see it now.

So if you're up for an entirely new design, here's the deal:
KEY MESSAGE TO CONVEY is hopeful, inspired, transformed -- elicit emotion in a subtle way -- USE COLOR but uplifting blends (can be pastel or brilliant) -- not dark or heavy. Abstract but implying joy, hope

With this metamorphosis concept I'm trying not to get too fancy with type because it's distracting. I may do some more with just fancy type, too.

I'll work with some other fonts, too.

On this new one, I like the line drawn across to "Love Your Life Again"

I would like it to be easier to read, slightly bigger/bolder

Once again, not liking the all caps. I will keep this one as a sample when I ask people for feedback before I make a final choice. But please give it back with upper and lower for "hypnotherapy" thx for working with me

Another approach to integrate slogan. Your blind phase lasts for almost three more days. That gives designers a chance to develop unique things for you without being influenced by the others. That helps you get more choices and not the same thing over and over.

I can't see the other designs, but we also are not allowed to follow what other designers do once the blind phase is over. That just makes everyone copy whatever you have ranked highest.

Sure, no problem. Also keep in mind that normally slogans are not an actual part of the logo, although they are helpful to designers for direction. A lot of people put their slogan separate from the logo on their business cards, websites, etc.

Can you see the other designs coming in? there is one by Faz -- I like the lettering with a Swoop across the A

I think the all caps Bay Area is cold

I like the first one you did best -- not the new one you posted with Love Your Life Again.
