This is better. I like the contrasting colors. Just need to work with the crest and the font. try taking and old school German font and modernizing it a little bit.

It's nice, but the font could be something a little more "classic". I saw you other designs, I like the idea of doing a plaque or crest with the font imposed on top or below.
