Here is my idea for a logo for Bang Rock. I wanted it to feel somewhat like a traditional beer logo (hence the bottle cap), but still be edgy and modern and new (hence the typeface I chose). Judging by your description of the beer, you want it to appeal to mostly younger beer drinkers in NYC, so that was the basis of my inspiration and targeted audience.
